I just achieved 99 slayer yesterday, I was happy :)

 

 

 

but slayer was the main thing i have been doing for a long long time,

 

 

 

now I can just stop and start on other skills, but somehow I am not sure which one to do...

 

 

 

 

 

therefore, please give me some advice, any suggestion is appreciated !!

 

 

 

 

 

My skill levels:

 

 

 

99 HP, attack, strength, defence, magic, slayer.

 

 

 

96 ranged -

 

Shuold i get it 99? or just let it be 96 which is very enough.

 

 

 

97 summon -

 

Should I do waterfiends for 99? or just do this slowly since 99 summon doesn't give anything

 

but a dragon pet.

 

 

 

74 prayer -

 

Should I spend tons of money to raise it? or just make it 75 which i find is mroe than enough to use.

 

 

 

67 Rune crafting -

 

I got all this from guthix tears, quests... Should I level it up :S

 

 

 

74 construction -

 

I find it more than enough.

 

 

 

77 agility -

 

Perhaps it's a good idea to make it higher?

 

 

 

79 herblore -

First, get 99 range off slayer. Yes, slayer. Then use the charms you get to train summoning, either to 99 or whatever. Then, if you have a few levels to go, just camp at waterfiends for charms and then get the rest of the levels.

 

 

 

Anyway, who said you have to stop doing slayer? Why not set a goal for 20M slayer experience (or something more crazy ;)).

Incorrect, Steel Titan. Also with the release of the Menagerie, you may WANT to do the dragon pets to show off in your house.

RC is a moneymaker. If something else makes your money that is better, then leave it alone unless you want to level.

Not really, it's not necessary anymore. Although if you want to get 85 for full agile, that's an option

Hey I like mining :P

 

 

 

Train it the enjoyable way, hunt stars. Do not join a clan, they make you get little xp. Hunt your own stars in an unpopular world and pray a clan doesn't take it (which isn't often). If you do this, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting a mahogany telescope.

Epic skill, I would keep training it. Even if its useless, it's still xp. You only need 10 minutes of your day to do a tree run, and 5 minutes every 1 and a half hours for an herb run.

Oh, if you are after ranging xp AND charms, then you have two good options:

 

 

 

Cannon scarabites.

 

 

 

Cannon wallasalkis.

 

 

 

Scarabites give worse xp but more charms.

Many people do, they just don't know how to kill them. No task is hard, it can only be confusing.

 

 

 

If you pray range and cannon in the Contact Catacombs, the task is over in 6-7 minutes and you get 15-20 crimson charms from it.

A few months ago I was in the exact same situation as you are now, and with nearly the exact same stats. I just got 99 Slayer off of 2 years of almost exclusive slaying and wasn't sure what to do next.

 

 

 

I ended up 99'ing Summoning and Magic, and then ran out of things to do. I just aimlessly spent another few weeks slaying, and then I quit playing altogether.

 

 

 

I still check in on the forums once in a while to see what's going on, but I'm completely burnt out and have no interest in playing anymore. The thought of grinding through any more mining or smithing levels is enough to make me sick.

Definetely, yes! It'll get you money for prayer.

You might as well get ranged and summoning to 99, since at this point you're pretty close. Scabarites seem like a decent choice, as zaaps suggested. It's absolutely worth getting those last couple of summoning levels, since the steel titan is badass and a significant step up from an iron titan.

 

 

 

Prayer would still be worth leveling to help with fighting bosses, if you like that kind of thing--medium priority. Runecrafting would also benefit you if you got it up to 91, but otherwise it probably isn't going to be faster money than, say, spiritual mages. For agility, I would normally say go to 81 for the slayer dungeon and taverley dungeon shortcuts, but you're 99 slayer, so you don't really need to visit those places--low priority. Herblore would be useless--bottom priority. Thieving is relatively low, and there's still plenty of room for improvement. I recommend training via blackjack on Menaphite Thugs. For crafting, your level is perfectly adequate, although if you plan on playing Stealing Creation you will benefit from getting to 80, in which case air battlestaves and blue d'hide bodies are good methods for you. Fletching would be useless, although you could potentially fletch broad bolts while multitasking for extra profit.

 

 

 

Smithing, fishing, and mining, like crafting, would only benefit you in Stealing Creation at this point, so it's up to you. Construction, you're right, it's more than enough already. Cooking and woodcutting are high enough already to do anything important. Firemaking would only help with woodcutting, if you were training woodcutting and wanted to burn elder evil trees, or if you wanted the inferno adze, and neither of those are important. All of these are low priority.

 

 

 

Finally, farming levels are unimportant at this point, but you should continue to farm herbs for profit.

 

 

 

Your levels are all high enough that you can already fully access most of the content in the game. The best you could do to improve would be to finish maxing out all your combat skills and maybe get 91 runecrafting. Other than that, do whatever you feel is the most entertaining. If you haven't gotten a quest cape already, that would be something I'd suggest.

Go range stuff for charms, get 99 range and summon :D

For 99 summoning i would recomend bursting/baraging rock lobs. Its costly but 5x the speed of waterfiends.

I would get 99 ranged by killing blue dragons and banking all the hides, bones and charms that would give u a big boost to all the related skills

You could go to kill chaos tunnel waterfiends with your iron titan (my guide for it) for charms, get steel titan and start doing slayer (or something else you prefer) with it for range xp.

 

 

 

And then, you can change your approach to game a bit, forget leveling skills for a while and start completing a bit different goals. Since you have had patience for 99 slayer those shouldn't be too hard for you.. or are they? ;) Or you could start going after rare solo drops; it certainly feels like an achievement to get dragon full helm from mithril dragons, get some solo hilt drops in gwd or claws from tormented demons. Or even d chain from KQ, of course it's not worth it other than as an personal achievement. Although I don't know which of these you have done already :)
