October 7, 200520 yr We can smith items such as hatchets, swords and armour, so why can't we smith pickaxes? They could be smithable at the same level or close to the same of hatchets. Any opinions?
October 7, 200520 yr Yeh this would be a good add on. It would be so much better then trapesing to the dwarf :( And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.
October 7, 200520 yr the funny thing is that hachet and pik needs a wooden handle and u dont need a wooden hadle to smith a hachet Hey Nicrune007 , Whats Your Username? 99 Ranged on 2/6/07 99 Hit Points on 9/5/08 99 Defense on 26/4/08 99 Attack on 14/2/09 99 Strength on 25/2/09 99 Slayer on 13/9/09\:D/
October 7, 200520 yr this is actually a good idea, and that is weird about hatchets not needing a wooden handle. You should only smith the head for both pickaxe and hatchets. And the better log you use to fletch a handle the less chance of the head flying off. Dragon Drops: 5 medium helmet, 3 left shield halfObby: Maul 1, Cape 1, Shield 1

But in that case they'd probably have to change smithing entirely to maintian consistancy; meaning you'd have to smith handles fow swords out of gold, make the wooden part of maces, use the feather for full helmets and so forth. Maybe it'll happen down the future, but I don't think a huge change wouldn't be welcome quickly.
October 7, 200520 yr this could be good but i prefer it the way it is...so that people wll have to gather money to buy the pick
October 7, 200520 yr There's a reason picks are unsmithable. It's the same reason black armor and dwarf cannons are unsmithable and abyssal whips are so expensive; it's a money drain. Jagex doesn't like how much gp is in circulation, and so has added various items that are purchase-only to remove some of it from the game. It's certainly not enough - just look at the billions of gp passed around daily for p-hats for proof - but that's why they're there. --Darg-- Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) October 8, 200520 yr Agreed. Dargon got to say it before me. The sooner you're capable of making something, the sooner it goes down in price. lpinkus
October 11, 200520 yr no good idea, the market would be flooded with pickaxes and prizes would go down.
October 11, 200520 yr ya but even if it is put into the game it will probably members' feature. oh ya,willyhenriksen how is this the wrong board?
October 11, 200520 yr smithing picks a good idee... but they need 2 change this: smithing axe heads (or pick axe heads) not fully picks and axes... pics has a bronze handle... make handle smith able... axes has wooden handle... make handle craft able... use the axe head on the handle... y doesnt it give crafting exp? ^^ click my sig for my lesser ranging guide ^^jwrm22: 4816th > 99 cooking 100% f2p !1172 total! + 140mil in items.i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined
October 12, 200520 yr erm probably picks are nt smithable is due to its marketability... if u are carefull with ur pick, u onli need 1 for the game.. no need to buy extra or make extra.. Black armour.. maybe they do not have any idea how to come up with it.. like wad kinda minerals to make up black armour... I doubt black armour exist... whereby material itself is black.. unless its plastic..

I couldn't say it any better. 124 CombatRetired Echo of Silence Councilhttp://rseos.com/forums/
