OK, so when is a good time to switch Slayer masters from Vannaka to Chaeldar? I currently have lvl 85 combat, and was wondeering if I should start going to Chaeldar. Thanks!

That depends. Are you willing to kill a total of 1k trolls? If not, stick with Vannaka. There is the possibility of an easy Harpie bug task from her, but don't expect it. The xp is fairly good though, so you might want to anyways.

I'm 88 combat, and I actually like Chaeldar some of the time. She does tend to give Bronzes a lot, though, and that's annoying. If you don't mind Bronzes, you'll be fine.

Go for it - i started using Chaeldar at about level 80 and it was ok the only issue was when she gave me my first Bronze Dragon task however every other task wasnt too bad

Go to Chaeldar now, you will get too many low lvls with Vannaka. You get less of them with teh fairy.

Bronze dragons are actually okay in the Chaos Tunnels, since there aren't dogs to harass you.

There are like no dogs in with the bronze dragons anyway.

 

They are annoying because they eat up only very marginally less supplies than irons, yet they have drops that are appauling

You could switch now, though I recommend getting your ranged up too (in case you get bronze dragons). Of course out of the 100 or so tasks I got from her I only got bronze dragons once.... but apparently other players have more luck. :mellow:

 

If you've done Smoking Kills you can use your slayer points to block/cancel any assignment you don't want anyway..

i've been using chaeldaer(sp?) since i could and i've only gotten 1 bronze task from her but other than that she gives some really good xp tasks.
