hacked need to regain money

well iv just logged on to find everything has gone :ohnoes:

my bandos

my dfs

and all 43mill of my cash

from what it looks like they took me to the wildy (i still had my skull)

and im not sure what to do next

and i need a way to make money fast with my skills or just killing stuff

i might just quit but i dont want to

why would i let all that time i spent go to waste

 

what is the best way to make it back

you can woodcut as you are 99 (if i remember good from ur sig??) to make money for some standard equipment and some food.

then you could go slay some green dragons, and the money will come in quikcly ^^

Flesh Crawlers to start off, you can get about 500k in a few runs (herbs from ranarr up, fire, nature, dust runes + the coins they drop), the go to green dragons once you get enough money for decent weapons and armour. Revenent Orcs rarely show up there (lvl 19 wild) so you dont have to think about them much, then you can move on to whatever once you get armour etc back.

Don't get yourself involved in cheating, it won't work out for you.

 

If you're going for money, dragons are hot atm (no pun intended). The price of dragon bones is sky high right now, I'd highly recommend WC for equipment then killing some green drags.

theoretical it is possible to hack runescape search for live JVM's while rs is running and reflect the runescape clients fields for username and passwords. (probably shouldn't really discuss things like that here)(and also if anybody wants to try it don't it is practicly inposible and whould take a huge ammount of time and a lot of knowledge)

Harsh - but true to some degree.

 

Don't get yourself involved with cheating again, it may have worked out last time, but things are more than likely to go wrong. If you feel the need to automate your game-play on Runescape, or any game for that matter, I suggest you find yourself something else to enjoy your time on.

 

Edit: Reading the above post; It's good that it's for intellectual stimulation, but I'd highly advise learning some other Programming languages and furthering your knowledge of those. They'll have far more practical use for later life than learning how to develop scripts for Runescape.

 

In terms of methods for generating cash, I guess I'd suggest the same as others, Woodcut for your starting-cash supply, seems you can stand that considering you have 99. ;) Afterwards, Green Dragons are fantastic at the current time of writing.

Wouldn't that infer that to 'hack' these details the suggested victim would have had to download a supposed Runescape 'client' to fall prey to this technique; which would easily be avoided by following Jagex's procedures on Third-Party software.

Yes, I can understand that. Within the vast majority of communities which contain software-developers there's always going to be a bit more to look at than just the specific subject. However - you're still limiting yourself. Let's presume from your post that you've been scripting in Java primarily. When was the last time you looked into developing an application in Java to solve a problem? Attempted a project? Etcetera. By learning Java outside of the 'cheating-scene' you'll find yourself looking at the concept of programming with a much broader mindset, rather than simply tailored to problems you may face in Runescape.

 

I am stereotyping of-course, and a lot is based on assumption - but there's far more to be gained outside a cheating community than there is from within one.

and with runecrafting i have never really done much research into it but i heard it is spirit gharacks is good for nats.

I'm not sure exactly but people use glories a lot, yeah.

 

I personally use Varrock teletabs with the GE teleport enabled. It's only a few seconds difference if you use the shortcut in the north west corner of the GE and you don't need to bother with expensive glories and recharging them and that.

Duelling Rings to Castle Wars are probably your best bet for Runecrafting via Graahks - supposedly there is a slight quicker speed with Castle Wars than Edgeville.

 

Having said that though - I tend to use Edgeville w/ Glory Amulets as the Graahk piles tend to be a lot less.
