gorgoroth
Alright i'm getting pretty serious with Slayer these days. I find it one of the funnest ways of making money. I realised that i might not have all the Slayer Monsters unlocked as some of them require Quests (such as Dark Beasts). My question is, which of the Tasks assigned by Duradel require a task to "unlock" them? Are these quests worth doing? (ie. are the drops from the tasks good enough and is it decent exp?) I know that Dark Beasts require the start of ME2, and thats about all i know. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
stormveritas
Smoking Kills is a great quest to use because it allows you to accumulate points for slaying AND access the smoke dungeon and make the slayer helm. I can't imagine any big time slayers haven't done it, but it's worth saying. Check into Doric's Quest also; I think you need it for Skeletal Wyverns. Also, if you haven't done Fairy Tale II you can't use Fairy rings, which is critical to reach altenative abyssal demons.
Manorexic
Must've started lunar diplomacy to get suqahs, you've also gotta start fairy tale part 2 to access goraks on the gorak plane. Must've done The Path of Glouphrie for warped terrorbirds, i havent done that quest purely so i dont get them!! Drops: 2 Bandos chestplates 2 Bandos hilt, 2 Armadyl hilts, at least 3 of every single Barrows item. More splits than i can remember
Fedorca99
There are quite a few Duradel tasks that can only be "unlocked" after a quest. There are some you may not want to be assigned, as well. There are also some new locations or monster variants that are unlocked by quests. Abberant Spectres: Doing the Smoking Kills quest unlocks a multi-combat location with lots of monsters that can be cannoned.Goraks: These are much easier to kill at the fairy ring DIR, which requires FTP2 to be started.Mithril Dragons: These can only be killed after completion of the barbarian training at Baxtorian lake.Scarabite Minions: These are unlocked after the Contact! quest, I believe. Most people do not like this task until they complete the Missing My Mummy quest, when you unlock a room of easy lvl 42's.Suqahs: These require the Lunar Diplomacy quest to be completed.Warped Terrorbirds: This is another task hated by most slayers. They are unlocked after The Path of Glouphrie quest. I also highly advise doing the Smoking Kills quest, as a whole bunch of slayer rewards can be gained from it. Hope this helps.
gorgoroth
Ive heard that Scarabites drop a fair ammount of good charms (either blue or crimson, i cant remember). Also ive hear that T-Birds are failry decent money? **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]

Only the big annoying Scarabrites drop good charms. The minions, which make for a faster task, drop only coins. T-Birds are okay money, but they are very annoying to fight and hit much harder than you'd think.

T-Birds are okay money, but they are very annoying to fight and hit much harder than you'd think. They don't hit hard at all. If you flick protect range for literally 2 seconds they either safespot themselves or switch to melee.I do tasks of them using 2 bunyip pouches, about 10 monkfish and SGS nothing more. Only praying if they start to range me (maybe 1 or 2 extra prayer doses when compared to a normal task, ie using 10% att/str prayers).Thats without using a single super defence or defence potion, EE spec, brews or anything else to improve my defence. There range is the one which hits hard, but there melee is pretty weak (12 is the max I believe and its inaccurate) and with just barrows and rune defender I at 85 defence don't have any trouble. Hell I always use a god cloak. The chimes and lack of charms is annoying, but there fairly good exp and decent drops (230k and 300k profit on my last 2 task of them which both took about 60 to 70 mins). aspeeder
From what i hear Goraks aren't a terrible task to do.They're decent, no special equipment needed to kill them besides a lunar/dramen staff and you can just wear basic melee armour. The only different thing about them is that they slowly drain your stats, but with a regular restore potion this is negated. I can easily be beaten with one yip pouch, though it takes me 2 trips since I bank all the gems  . http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
