Merchant Clans

Featured Replies

Disclaimer: I know they are bad for the RS economny, and most of TIF is against them, and so on and so forth. So I dont want to hear any of the anti merchant clans slander.

I also have been practing other forms of merchanting already, but I would like to try and join one because I am no longer as active in the game and its a less active form of mearchanting. Sooooooooooooooooo... Could some people point me in the direction of some decent merchanting clans that will accept new members? And if it matters, my account is F2P and has around 10mil.

Thanks in advance.

Doesnt nesseccarily have to be all f2p, just one that will do f2p items on occation.

I know you said you did not want to see such posts but I feel it is necessary nonetheless.

TIF has always respected Jagex's stance on almost everything and merchanting clans are no different. Jagex has said that price manipulation is not in the "spirit of the game" and hence most of us here at TIF do not encourage nor enable anyone to join price manipulations clans.

If you seriously want a good way to make money in F2P, go runite mining.

Merchanting clans fail, as most of these indirectly "scam" people.

If the bolded red words are infact the case then you should stay away from Merch Clans. They require a regular visit to the game if you wish to make a profit (you're going to have to check the G E updates, charts, etc. to make sure you dump before you think they will). In all honesty though you will make ALOT more money solo merching on a small scale than you will merching in a clan.

Rares are the only way you could relatively safely make money not playing much at all.

If you don't play often then you'll end up losing massive amounts of GP with any merchanting clans.

I even dislike merchanters in general... Why play this game if you're not planning on gathering XP?

And imho free is easy enough to make good cash, although I don't think runemining is the best way.

I got L86 mining myself and I found it better cash mining addy/mith ores than rune ores but it's your call ofc.

Good luck

Even if you dont mech, you should check the major mech clans once a week, so you wont get screwed by them.

Don't bother with merch clans. Instead try to flip items. Buy them under the medium price then sell them back over the medium price. Its a quick and easy way to make money. I did it a few weeks ago with abyssal whips. But just look for what you can on F2P. Maybe try the god trimmed armors.

Thanks for the replys. I would be able to check the game enough where I dont think I'd get screwd by the dump. I have been doing some item flipping, and temporary tagging along with clans and mearching off the bounce and those have worked great for me. I guess my main reason is to try somthing new? And thanks for the rune ore suggestion but I can get close to 150k an hour with 50/50 GOP buying water tailsmans, if not more, but its a really boring way to make money.

Yeah Trimmed armour works great on F2P. My cousin used to do this when he still Player RS. He managed to make his first 50m as F2P Player doing this 2 times a day with 2 Plates and 2 Legs.
