Okay, I need some advice on my pking account. I need help with my current pure-in-training. my stats are:

Attack:12

Defence:5

Ranged:4

HP:13

Prayer:4

I want a pure that can generate money at a good rate while pking, raise money with other skills like wcing, and still be able to get some money to my now-useless main. I hope someone will be able to help me with my pure! I am not sure wether to post this on graveyard help and advice, so if This is in the wrong forum, please move it.

Well, I don't really want to ranged/2h, but I will If i have to, I want to get a pure that can deal damage, but hits more than occasionally.

so you want to be a strength pure? or may I suggest (until around 60cbt) magic > melee. In which case try either high alchemy or super heat as they raise magic without giving HP xp.

Range/2h is the dominant force in low level pking... Unless you want to range with 40 defence and just hope people death match you, or just get 40 defence and melee/2h...

 

It all depends on what you want to do... In fairness, i find low level f2p pking a total waste. Everyone runs, teleports or is just a total prat. Dont pump time and effort into a low level account when you can spend it on your main.

To be honest I'd start over, 4 pray and 5 defence is not a good start if you want a pure, but that's just my opinion. Good luck.

Well, if you don't want to range/2h (which i personally use on my pure), I'd go with a zerker pure (not sure if it's the right name):

att: 40

str: 50+ (as high as possible)

def: 1

pray: 1 (or 31 if you want ultimate str - having 31 will raise your combat, but most people will underestimate your max hit when you tell them your strength)

hp: as high as possible (the higher your hp, the less people will accuse you of safing)

ranged: 40 [dhide chaps and vambs] (or higher if want extra hp exp)

magic: 37+ (teles + hp exp)

 

Obviously, you'll need to make a new account... If you want to continue on your current account, copy stats above and get 40 defence.

A little tip: don't be stupid and "no arm(our)" people with 1 def; they lose nothing while you will almost certainly die and thus lose a lot.

 

Don't bother making a mage; they are only good for lower levels and then they're most effective against rune armour, which almost no one brings...

5 defence already? This will put you at a SERIOUS disadvantage until you get to levels 55-60+, I think you should consider restarting because your stats aren't that high anyways.

I don't PK, so I have no knowledge about this, but how does magic fare in PvP? I'm sure a ranger or a strength pure would trump a mage easily, but I'm just wondering.

I always toyed with the idea of a mage pure in low level F2P pking. If you just had straight up 35 magic and the corresponding 24ish HP, you could hit a 12 at 23 CB.
