April 9, 201016 yr Bieng OP will give you no power, bieng a moderator will give you power however your not allowed to play.
April 9, 201016 yr Why don't you post it Hex? I'm not confortable with posting something I didn't write. Master of your domain? I am Lord of the manor, Queen of the castle, King of the county! April 9, 201016 yr Because of what dusty saidNot if it's started by you Hex. why don' you wan tto post if its due to the feeling that your stealing write 'Hex wrote this' somewhere in really really small letters.

I know how you hate facing facts.
April 10, 201016 yr Funny thing is... nobody has really been agreeing with you at all. We've all just been giving really neutral comments, and you've just led yourself on. If we are going to make a new hegemony, we discuss it first, and we wait until Empire is dead (If it does die, but I would like people to try it out.) Plus, when you start threads, you tend to use your inherent original post powers to munchkin the hell out of the game. *Points to the arena thread*
April 10, 201016 yr Author Omg! It's got my name on!Lol. Should I post the new hegemony then? See Poster. A new Hegemony would be a bad idea. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

It's that I don't entirely approve of all the rules myself, and wouldn't want to be stuck defending something I have no interest in defending. Master of your domain? April 10, 201016 yr I just added the things we discussed. One moderator deciding, no space travel (I haven't posted that, I forgot)and then kept the rules consistent from all hegemonys.
April 10, 201016 yr Author Rules from Hegemony's past: Nothing bad ever happens.People can do whatever the hell they like, regardless of what the moderator or anyone else says. There is a moderator who can force any decision, even bad ones. I think that is basically the three rules from Hegemony...suiting the three styles of player:'I play this game because I am bored so I just want to level up my civ''I play this game because I must own everyone and I can't do that playing by the rules''I play this game because it is fun, but everyone else is cheating.' Because, Space or Earth, those seem to be the constants. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
April 10, 201016 yr Hey guys. Question for you. Dont you just hate it when you write the equivalent of 2 pages worth of text for the new game, and it takes you almost 3 hours, then your memory stick decides to be a f**king [developmentally delayed] and corrupt every f**king file on itself. Well, i do.
April 10, 201016 yr Can I start a real Hegemony game, for christ's sake? Hopefully soon. We should make a wiki, so every player has a place to keep their stats, such as army strengths and GDP. Then we wouldn't have to search through 20 pages of posts to find something. EDIT- im off to play some Civ4. Ill be backk in an hour
April 10, 201016 yr Author People will never update their wikis though...and the people who do will say the people who don't don't get anything, so the people who don't won't to spite the people who do and the whole thing will become the focus of another massive argument which annoys everyone. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Its not that hard, it'd take them like 5 minutes about twice a week.
April 10, 201016 yr Author Haha, I know that...yet doing something as simple as that is impossible for some people. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
April 10, 201016 yr I'll do it.Hey, can you do semi-protection otherwise people will edit other peoples wiki's For the lulz...
April 10, 201016 yr Author Yes...that seems likely, what with the high degree of trust we invest everyone with.... http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
April 10, 201016 yr <_< was that a rhetorical question? no one trusts anyone else in here after dungeoneering got started with full backstabbity action. Youtube account: Earthgragonsage; currently uploading not an effing thing.[hide=Memorable Crossroads Quotes.]Reigan: NO MOOSE CAN SAVE US NOW; ...Had that been taken out of context, it would have been comical... Right now, it's terrifying.[/hide]
April 10, 201016 yr Author People back stab a lot, but most of us trust each other enough not to change each other's posts or what have you....Hex being an exception. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
April 10, 201016 yr Lol :)Its possible to make things editible only by certian people, don't know how though. rocco, post the code[hide] Hello and welcome to the fourth instalment of the hugely popular, Tip.It Hegemony; a text based strategy game. You are given the leadership of a country in which you can control and use it to compete with other countries. As the leader of your country you can research technologies and build armies in an attempt to outcompete other countries. Current War Moderator: Who???? [hide=how to work out your money] Once you have your planet you need to work out how much money you have to spend. First you need to work out the average of what people earn in your country in US dollars; this will always start at $20000 and then increase as there is more education. This is called GDP per capita. Then you need to work out your population, this will start at 10000000 and then increase every year, this will increase if you issue a condom ban or baby making campaigns but will usually just go up over time as your population increases. GDP per capita*Population = your money. You will need to then work out how much money you have paid[/hide] 1. Instead of arguing to decide the winner of a battle a moderator is selected to decide who wins during these battles, they are not allowed to play The moderator also decides events such as rebellion/strikes/work-increases/events based on how the people in the country would feel. 2. Research takes time and money 3. Two days = One year in the hegemony 4. No WMDs that leave fallout or causes damage to an area over a long time 5. No colonisation of diffrent planets [hide=Here is the map] [/hide] [/hide] It contains all of the information that we discussed and just copied the rules off the other hegemonys.
