Junkieman
back to its older colour, with a brighter, cyan like glowy tiny! People from way back in the day, and who play classic, will know what I'm talking about. I much preferred that colour, cos it was also alot more distinguishable from mith too. All those in favour say aye, if not, just go flame the hell out of me if you're thinking of it.
lpinkus
I never played RSC, but I have no problem seeing this change happen. However, I've never really had a problem distinguishing mith from rune. Not a priority on the JAGeX to-do list :) lpinkus

Outsanity
Jagex will run out of useful updates soon...then they will come here Lol...Jagex will never run out of useful updates. There is so much in the world of Runescape that needs tweaked or updated for good, logical reasons. This isn't needed, at all. So what if you don't like the colour...it's not something Jagex needs to waste time doing. Also, if you're having problems distinguishing Rune from Mithril then you better get your eyesight checked. Rune is a brighter shade of blue, and mithril is a blue that is dawning on becoming purple. |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
Diego
Lol it isnt hard to distinguish mith from rune like some other dude said, but I actually liked the color of rune in rs1, it had its *shine* kind of thingy that made it stand out from other armour, the rs2 version is more dark and kind of plain :? Wow, very eloquent, "dawning on becoming purple." :) I skipped mithril, actually, but it is a nice color. lpinkus
scruffman
old rune DEFINATELY looked better, but instead they waste time fixing areas that nobody goes to for extended periods of time, rimington and port sarim you jsut walk through... Kevin_
old rune looked better , but i don't think colour will mather in any way , if the colour change , you'l get tired of the colour in a year , and guess what , you'l post the same topic so realy , theres no use Some people dream of success, while others make it happen. Barihawk
Rune is ugly. That is all. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. banditx31
er...does armour colour really change in anything than appearance?
Junkieman
no, it doesnt change anything BUT appearance. Trimmed Rune is crappy, i want back the cyan rune armour, and I'd never get bored of its colour, i used to love its colour. It was greatness. They could make some gold armour for some crazy quest of something, where you need to be super heavy(ive just done between a rock, and you get this cool gold helmet), that'd look sweet, but be a bit useless if you were trying to run. Mainly because there was a time period when I was super poor (poorer than poor to the present me) and couldn't afford mithril, but then one day I just decided "Hmmm...I am going to train combat and make money at the same time!" Well...I did, and by the time I had enough money to buy adamant, I had the level to wear it...lol |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
nefhi
i also liked the old rune more, but about the look like mith thing i usaully confuse steel, iron and rune than mith and rune, but thats just my eyes
E_D_G_E_1039
For maybe a week after rs2 launched, I mistaked rune for mith, but after that, it was extremely easy to distinguish the difference. And above... Iron is dark, Steel is light Mith is dark, Rune is light
Junkieman
i dont like rune gold trimmed either, im quite fussy. they do look pretty sweet, but they'd look better in cyan! deep down, i really want them, but i dont wanna pay loads for full rune(g), ive barely got 2mil, and im trying to save for a whip :s. i hope prices dont fall right after i buy. Not gold trimmed, either...there is ACTUALLY an armor that is Rune Gold Plated. It's pure gold armor with rune stats. Yes, it's expensive. But if you want to look good, you better be willing to pay lots-o-cash for it. lol |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
