Zombie's

Right everyone, I think that we should put all our zombie plans to work.

Welcome to Zombie's (name in progress) a new zombie RP and strategy game.

Now, here is a description of the zombies.

Zombies are normal humans which are reanimated by a virus. This virus is spread by direct physical contact and water. So if a zombie bites you, you are infected with the virus.

The virus will reanimate you as a zombie in a matter of minutes. You will have no recollection of past events and no conciousness. Your body is only a host to the Zombie within.

Zombies can survive lots of toil, they can only be fully killed by destroying there head. Disconnecting there head from there nervous systems means that only there head can move and not there body.

They walk at a brisk pace and are quite jerky.

[hide]zombie-cat.jpg

No animals apart from humans can be reanimated. And for the sake of the thread there is a no explination of how the zombies travelled all over the world.[/hide]

There is not many humans, there is a lot of zombies.

You can either choose to play one human or about one hundred zombies.

Now, I need to work out the combat system and this will start.

The zombies will try and kill the humans and the humans will try and kill the zombies.

My one hundred zombies have a hive intelligence, which becomes smarter and smarter as more zombies join it.

The hive metality is added to zombies bitten by my zombies.

All of my 100 zombies no longer care about brains, but about allies.

((Is this cheating?))

The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.

I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.

I would laugh, not hate. I'm a male. :(

Since when was Ireland an island...? :wall:

I wish I had my computer :'(

first I could wikipedia supertyrant and second I could give a longer explination.

Ross, I'm going to say yes for now but we need to sort that out slightly.

The main gameplay aspect is that some people would play as zombies and crowd people for teh lulz and humans would work out ingenoius survival plans. It would be governed more like the hegemony then an average roleplay for the reason that this is almost like a zombie survival simulator.

If you choose to play a supertyrant however I doubt you could beat the power of 100 zombies and also you wouldn't have the fun of crowding.

You could play as a human if you want, just an evil human out for his own selfish needs

TTANT that would mean that the large zombie hordes would be intellegant a d that would mean there more like humans and with invunrebility it would be a hard battle

It would be fine in the concept but it's not like zombie-ey

I do want people playing with one or two main characters but instead of 700 zombies vs 5 humans there will be armys of humans aswell.

No, the zombies alone are idiots. But they have a hive intelligence. Each one fights like a normal zombie, stupidly. But in group movements they can attempt to surround foes, etc. The more of them are, the more complicated the possible maneuvers.

So lone zombies are still easy targets, you just have to make sure you aren't getting encircled, etc.

Yes, thats basically how the game is.

Its like a tactic game.

Could someone please work out a combat system?

So far if a zombie comes into the radius of a human they instantly zombify but i'm wondering about killing zombies.

I think a weapon could have have something like 50attack (for a shotgun) and a zombie have 50HP but I need to work out range and distance and reloading and getting ammo and such.

My zombies are herding humans into a skyscraper, and then coming in for lunch.

Can I have more zombies, now?

Human- always wins 1 vs 1 with a zombie.

Beyond that, it depends on numbers, and how the zombies are moving.

Weapons:

Katana- 50 damage, close range, fast

Knife- 10 damage, close range, very fast

Axe- 60 damage (higher hp'd zombies may eventually come to being, or other humans), close range, slow

or, for long range weaponry

Pistol- 30 damage, short range, medium

Rifle- 50 damage, long range, medium

Shotgun- 80 damage, close range, slow

And we'll just rate every weapon we can think of like this.

A zombie will have stats like:

HP:50

Speed:Slow (Maybe certain ones will be faster, somehow?)

Attack:30

Infection: 35% chance (We can change that, if needed.)

Range: Close combat

Humans will be the same, but with individual traits and advantages.

Ok, I like that idea.

Infection rate needs to be 50/50 and then it can be done with a random number generator quicker.

I also think we want other weapons which aren't set weapons. These will be put on the front page and have to accepted by me.

So.....

TTanT: Bob walks into a bar, he looks at a table and finds a snooker queue

Snooker Queue - 20 damage, close range, slow, breaks after 10th use.

Hex: Yeh, thats fine i'll put it on the front page.

I can then keep an extra post for all of that.

I'm wondering this, do we really need to use an ammo system for the guns? Its not needed really is it.

Name: Test Human

HP: 100

Speed: Medium

Trait: Trait: +5 all ranged weaponry, expert at electronics

Personality: Test Human is a large stocky guy, he however isn't the strongest of people. Walking for him would be better called waddling however he is faster then most zombies.

Theres a human for you, I think that might be all the information we need.

I'm going to work on a map in PSCS4 so I.... wait, i'll just use a map of manchester or whatever and i'll put a grid on it.

We can say stuff like "I am in be34 on the map and moving to bf34"

Supertyrant

HP: 2500 (Normal zombie groups total 5000, so it isn't overpowered)

Speed: medium-slow

Attack: 100

Infection: 0% chance

Range: Close combat

Trait: Can use large weaponry (Treetrunk etc, hands are too large to hold conventional weaponry)

There.

Testcase 29

HP: 100

Speed: fast

Attack: 40

Infection: 0% chance

Range: Close combat, short range throwing attacks

Trait: Can throw rocks, sticks, or even knives if anyone leaves them lying around. This is an extremely fast zombie, but they are only sent in groups of 10. They posses the ability to avoid obvious traps and obstacles.

Could someone find a map?

You're hosting, but you don't seem to be contributing much. Which city did you have in mind?

London UK.

Its nice and urban which will be perfect for this map but it has its parks and such.

But I want to see what everyone else thinks.
