Our_Moon
Assuming a player has almost no money, low combat skills, and a limited knowledge of the RS world, what are good ways for the player to make money? The player in question does have Level 77 Fishing, but that's nearly it... The player also has no access to Summoning. I would like some methods and possibly profits/hr, if anyone has a clue. I would like for them to be SAFE, as i am sure this player does not wish to lose more money. Thus far, i have come up with: Picking flax (profit/hr?)Tanning hides (profit/hr?) Please do not mention picking up Potato Cacti; that will not work in this case.
pikachu54673
You need money to do hide tanning. Fishing lobstersFishing swordfishMining coalMining ironThieving seeds from master farmersCutting yewsRunecrafting watersMining pure essence Im sure I could go on forever, those are just a few off the top of my head. EDIT: Stealing level one clue scrolls from HAM members, can be very profitable for low levels. dragon246665
you can still pick up some extra cash by buying vials of water, but its not something to go out of your way for. Mining pure essence is easy, probly about 150k per hour.
Our_Moon
Isn't flax closer to 200k/hr? (or is my math off?)
1230abcz
There are tons of methods to gather raws that make loads of money. White berries, snape grass, toads, flax, potato cacti. The list is endless. Potato cacti used to be like 1M/hour when they were spiking on the ge.

EDIT: Stealing level one clue scrolls from HAM members, can be very profitable for low levels. Fishing lobsters in the fishing guild could give you aprox 200k/hFishing swordfish gives approximatie the same, seeing you catch tuna aswell, which isn't worth that much.Mining coal with coal being 220+ now, is only efficient if you use the Coal Veins in the Living Rock Cave (70 mining..)Mining iron can be very profitable, with iron being 200 gp/ea , you can easily get 250k / hThieving seeds is hardly 100k/h unless your lucky. (great way to train thieving tough)Cutting Yews is close to 80-100k /hRunecrafting waters is hardly worth it. There are far better runes to craft. Natures at 44, Double cosmics, Astral runes etc. Runecrafting can easily earn 300k /hMining pure essence (perhaps use pouches here to) is nice money. With 60 mage, use the magic guild to do this. Aprox 200k/h aswell Flax isn't that profitable. A big favorite of mine is Enchanting Orbs.Air orbs are worth quite a lot and aren't that hard to enchant. Look it up on how to make them. Make sure you have glory's and perhaps make your own runes. (or just make air battlestaves from scratch and alch them)

Malgoradan
Another thing you could do is farming Toadflax. The best part is that doing farming is almost completely extra as you only have to spend a few minutes planting and picking and it grows while you are doing other stuff. I am not sure what your farming level is, but it only takes 38 farming for toadflax, and that does not take overlong to get. Anyways, toadflax seeds cost something like 1-2k on the GE, and if you use supercompost and the herb doesn't die, you are guaranteed to get at least 5 toadflax herbs worth 4-5k+.
