Nero
Not really posturing at all. Just saying I would've kept playing since trapping a bunch of people for the rest of the game in a room that can only be unlocked by finding a tiny little crystal (that could be anywhere in the world), is not exactly my idea of fun. Anywho, I was talking about selling the jerkin to another player. Hm, alright. I sell my maul for 1 GPGold = 164GP I buy a basic set of tools (hammer, nails, chisel, screws, bindings, whatever) for 10GP. I trade my enchanted stone for Grim's enchanted metal. Now to decide on a weapon... Sell both bottles of Merlot to the store for let's say...25GP. So, I get 8GP, Jen gets 8gp, Ares gets 9. Grim_
Then I may spend some of tomorrow reinforcing it.EDIT: I also buy a basic set of tools (minus the hand saw)
Nero
EDIT: I will trade you my enchanted lump of metal for an enchanted stone dusty (also does my staff have any new bonuses now that it has a fire elemental inside of it?)Done. Now to find a suitable weapon for my knight (since I get no bonus for being an archer I might as well go heavy tank). Here goes: -Taking the enchanted metal to the Guild, to have a halberd forged, that is axe blade on one side, hammer at the other, and lance-point at the tip (what bonus does it get?).-Re-doing the maul shoulder strap to fit to the halberd-Going back on the order to sell the shortsword, I'll get that as my 1h spare for now-Buying a length of extra-sturdy rope from the store for 2GP-Chopping down wood and whatnot to build a log cabin (I'll just automate Jen and Ares to help so that they can get the skill increase and have the thing done faster) while the halberd is forged.-Building a log cabin (with Jen and Ares' help)-Practicing with my new polearm to get used to it and improve my strength and weapon skill Gold=170 Note to Ross & Retech:Loot found:(however many sapphires Jen & Ares got from the Golems before I got back into the thread)5 sapphires - Nick2x Bottle of Merlot - Nick (SOLD for 25GP, 8 to Nick, 8 to Jen, 9 to Ares)1 diamond - Jen4 rubies - Aresstrange broach - Aresgolden tiara - Jenenchanted stone - Nickenchanted lump of metal - Ares100 coins - Jenplate armour - Nick (I'm keeping this one, since plate armour is teh pwnz) Unsure whether you guys want to go with a 3-way split on all the stuff that's sold, or if we should just take what we got and do what we will with them. Retech
Thanks Dusty. Now to get revenge on a certain somebody. -looks evilly at Pies- Anyways, since I may be home late today, I'm just going to list some stuff I'm going to do. -------- Jen spots the large elk that she remembers for some reason, even though the memory is blurry. Now that she's stronger, she attempts to freeze the legs of the elk completely into blocks of ice so it can't move. If she doesn't succeed, then she forms ice spikes on the ground to protect her. If she does succeed, she goes and lops the elk's head off. Afterwards, if she succeeds in the above, then she cuts up the elk into sections of meat and freezes them. Then she cuts out the antlers and stows them in her pack. After all of that, she'll meet up with Nick and Ares to give them the elk meat, so they can make a fire and eat it. Later, she gets 100 coins from the Exile Guild, for her level 3 ice magic. If the above doesn't succeed, continue to next step: Jen sneaks behind a tree, spotting Grim building his "cabin" nearby. She attempts to freeze his arms and legs, so that he cannot cast spells. She tries a few times if it fails, and creates an ice shield to protect herself. "That enchanted stone will be mine. Gimme Gimme Gimme!" If she succeeds in freezing him, then she's going to go for a full body bind, just incase. Then Jen walks over and takes the enchanted stone. Afterwards, Jen leaves a golden tiara by the ground next to Grim's feet as payment for the stone. After a safe distance away, and protected by her ice shield, Jen unfreezes Grim. Then she walks "home". After arriving at home, Jen attempts to enchant her diamond with ice spells (same with the saphire, but I'm assuming the diamond can store more charges). ----------- Oh yah Dusty, I'm always interested in gems. They're good for enchanting stuff. If you give me one of your saphires, I can try to enchant it so that you can use a single ice spell (assuming that's allowed, and it probaly wouldn't be as powerful, but it would still be good). We should just keep what we obtained, I think the diamond could be able to store several charges. Oh yah, all my valuables are back at the cabin. ----------- Hehe, I do have an eye for magical trinkets. Grim, if I could trade my golden tiara for the enchanted stone, then you can cancel out the above. :) Nothing against you Grim, but we all know who needs the gem more. :) Master of your domain? Seraphi
After a long night in the krypt, Ares is tired out, but still has some business to take care of. First of all, he finds Grim and offers to trade 2 sapphires for the Strange Crystals which he stole from the party, since he did actually have plans for them. He then places the strange broach around his neck, and spends the rest of the night hunting wolves in the forest with dark magic. He then heads into town to try and buy a pickaxe and some excavating materials. (Archi, could you list the current stats so I can add them to my character sheet?) Icuownage
Umbra wakes up in the inn (Do I get any bonuses for a well rested night?) He walks into the market and buys basic equipment E.G Hammer - Bucket - Hatchet - Skinning dagger - Tinderbox The total should come to around 5G correct me if I'm wrong Anyway, after that, Umbra decides to pay the Exile guild a visit (I never knew that existed) It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time? Jehosaphat
Kemios buys the bucket, as well as a skinning knife, a hammer, a hatchet, and a tinderbox. Assuming these all cost 1 gold apiece, he has 155 gold left. He then returns to the forest and begins constructing a small lean-to using the hatchet and knife. He also stabs a tree to obtain sap from it, which he puts in the bucket. (Sorry I was gone, guys. Forgot that my internet cuts out at a specific time and isn't back up until 8 hours later.) Seraphi
But since we're all in different timezones that is quite difficult to do.
Nero
Alright, we'll just keep what we got personally. I'd rather sell the sapphires since I don't really use magic. So...I sell the 5 sapphires for 30 gold each. I have 314 Gold. The Enchanted halberd is done forging, and has a bonus against undead and gives a 10% increase in chance to cast aura magic (oh I'ma be a paladin!).The shaft is made of steel and can be unscrewed at the middle to transform the halberd into a one handed hammer/axe/spear hybrid. I sell the 2 Kraken pieces I have leftover for 5 gold each. 10 Gold.I sell my shortbow & case for 10 gold.My arrows and quivers for a total of 15 gold.My 4 stun darts for 2 gold each. Total Gold: 357 I buy: Iron greaves - 150 GPSteel gauntlets - 150 GP Gold: 57 I continue work on my log cabin and training with my halberd Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino
Seraphi
But we're still deciding who gets rare equipment based on need, mind. Mundane loot like that (Sapphires and such) can just be grabbed and sold if you so wish, and stuff with no purpose other than to sell will be split into GP.Sound fair? Nero
Sounds fair. I already nabbed what I needed (the stone to trade for the metal, since I don't really use magic), and the plate armour since I am the tank. Anywho, Nick tosses Ares and Jen 10 gold apiece.
