Ooh, the frigid one sounds interesting...

 

Anywho, I heal, fix my armour, and get up. I form an aeromancy shield (if I formed as strong a one as I did in the underworld, I should be able to do just as well here) and fly some more if it's possible, if not I use a geomancy tunnel up the mountain to the dwelling of the mage.

 

@Earth: That's allomancy, not transmog.

You slip on the creature's slimy head, and it eats you again. This time you've lost your left arm, and you begin burning from acid again.

You recover and attempt to create the aeromancy shield, but you realize that aeromancy had a boost from the underworld, and so you fail miserably. The mountain seems magically protected by something. The icy staircase has disappeared.

Grim attempts to heal himself and electrecute the snake. He then attempts to stab up to it's brain as well. If he has time he coats the mouth of the thing with hot ice and teleports out before detonating it.

i try to raise more of the dead (4 skeletons) before taking the tree metal back to my grotto.

Eh, whatever. I climb up, trying to create handholds with geomancy and deflect the wind with aeromancy/sound magic. If I'm about to fall, I turn the steel orbs into spikes which I drive into the mountainside, and I also extend the spikes on my armour.

You manage to heal yourself, but you don't manage to replace your lost limbs. You electrocute the snake, and it begins to howl (like a sea serpant) in rage. After teleporting out, the sea serpant explodes. The remnants of its head splatter everywhere, and you are left with pieces of flying sea serpant head, and a very long body, with many glimmering scales.

Someone else has already looted the graveyard, and you don't manage to form any more skeletons. You take some tree-metal back to your grotto.

Your allomancy seems to do nothing as you didn't really intend it to do anything, but the staff begins morphing. You can't find Earth's body anywhere.

Despite the incredible odds against you (you had to roll an 18 to get up in one action), you successfully make it to the top of the mountain, where you are amazed by the incredible height (the mountain grew another hundred feet or so). You see a small cave occupying the space at the top of the mountain, with a small fire emitting a faint light. It's quite surprising a fire can survive here at all.

 

You feel like you're being watched.

Fine by me (I guess both hot ice and cold fire are interchangeable for ice and fire magics )

You manage to heal your lost limbs. The scales seem incredibly hard and shiny. They seem very valuable.

The mystril doesn't really react to your experiments, but the tree metal falls apart. You deduce the tree metal is one of the most useless creations that could ever be made.

Your allomancy seems improved with either staff, though it doesn't get better with both. You succeed in the action rather easily. The positive staff seems to have engravings etched into the side facing outwards like <>, while the negative staff seems to have engravings facing inwards ><. You fail in morphing them into whips, as it seems too difficult for you.

Grim takes as many scales as he can after securing the rope and grappling hook (the invicible light sucking rope) to the ceiling.

Or his head equipment. Something that amplified blows taken to the head, causing critical damage to the brain cells.

I call out a greeting to the man, and say that I have come to seek knowledge of transmogrification.

i go out and mine for more usefull metal, and transmog the rubble into metal. (what about my uber forge?)

You grab a whole bag of scales (they're the size of a good portion plate), before attaching the grapple to the the ceiling.

You notice a ledge with gears on the walls, which leads back to the corridor. You also notice a large "elevator" shaft on the other side. Suddenly, the golem begins to shake, causing you to fall down. When you get back up, you notice that chunks of the ceiling are falling down. Race to escape!

He appears quite old and frail.

Grim climbs up through the hole to the surface. He then looks for an entrance to the next area.

(i had that rusty sword form the healing golem, ya know.. the one with the mimics? i almsot had me hand blown off, but i got a 19. that means i ahve an uber forge. the rubble isjust the regular rubble that you get from mining) sweet. i mine enough to make a good set of armor with, and then i take it back to my grotto.

I ask about altering my body to make it easier to fly with metal wings. Once that is explained, I ask about altering hearing, vision, and other essential basics of transmog.

 

Tech, Earthsage has an uber forge that was created when he tried to reforge the rusted sword he got from the uber-golem dungeon and it exploded.
