rocco. im not suprised. but i dont atually complain about EVERYTHING. i do with a lot of things, but not all of em. i usually put in a suggestion to rectify whatever im [bleep]ing about, and i always have a basis for what i say. granted, usuualy these are very weak based, but they are based on somthing plausible.

Why hello there.

Grim looks for any mention of white elm in the records of the Ikanan library and then checks the directory for a master of battle magic.

i take shots at the creatures comming through the baricade.

The golem seem remarkably intact for a disentigrating machine, and repulses your attempts to change it.

 

-Grim

 

You find in the records, an old worn out book with a few references to white elm. All you can discern, is that there are none of them left in the known world, and that the last one was made into seven staves for seven wizards of old. Five of them are known to survive today, while the other two have gone missing or have been destroyed.

 

-Earth

 

You manage to take down two of the ferocious beasts, before the rest of them begin breaking down the barrier that Nex made.

i take more shots with acid and necro arrows, hoping that the necro arrows will make the beasts sekeltons under my controll.

Grim looks into the legends of the wizards of old and the properties of the lost/missing staffs.

Your arrows miss, despite the fact that they are so close to you. The beasts manage to make a small hole, and one of them jumps through, biting your leg.

The golem seems magically protected, and blows you back a few feet. Thankfully you land on your back. Through intense concentration, you manage to morph one of the staves into a basic sword. It still seems much lighter than a regular sword of the same size.

You find tales of wizards of old, how they defeated great beasts and defeated evil hordes that have come from the east. In scrawled out text, you find out one of the properties of the staffs is to commune with one another.

(interesting) Grim looks through for any other properties and affinities to any types of magic before looking for a master of battle magic in the directory.

[Earth]

i smash the beast with my hammer, and keep on shooting/smashing anything thats attackign me.

You notice that each of the staffs have different affinities, and that they can only be used in that affinity. You also notice that each of the staffs have "a life of their own."

 

The master of Battle magic has his name crossed out.

You knock the beast away, before being knocked over by three other beasts, who quickly clamp onto your body.

Using your current expertise, you cannot determine if they're made of white elm. They seem pretty metallic to you. You activate your >< staff to drain the golem's energy, but quickly realize that the staff doesn't work that way.

i use acid magic to create a cloud of acid around me, while bashing the beasts with my hammer.

[Grim_]

Grim looks for a master of fire or light magic (damm why must they all live in the ivory tower) before going outside the library and attempting to communicate with the staff.

You begin to choke in the powerful haze you create. The beasts seem pretty immune to the noxious gases, presumbly from living with a troll for years. In your oxygen deprived state, you miss completely with your hammer.

You revert the sword back into a staff, and you wander for quite a while. Finally, you find yourself next to a pole with a head impaled on it. Half the head seems to be missing, and the brains are scattered all over the floor, probaly the work of Hex. Up ahead you see several ogres with large clubs and bones for ornaments, guarding a mountain pass.

The masters all seem to be "dead." You head outside and try to communicate with the staff, but it does not succeed. The Ikanians now think that you are a strange fellow.

[Earth]

i dispell the acid, nd i try to use necro to blind them, while i slash at them with my axe.

[Grim_]

Grim goes and checks to see if there are any non "dead" masters then attempts to telepathically communicate with the staff. He then tries running a light spell through it.

You fail to dispel the haze, and you feel that you are slipping into unconciousness. Eventually, darkness takes you. Somehow you awaken on the other side of the chasm, away from the room you just came from.

Their names are all crossed out. The staff doesn't reply to you, despite your hardest efforts. The light spell does not work.

 

Suddenly the tip of the staff emits a bright flash, before returning to a dim light.

The ogres catch on fire, and start running in circles. You detect some metal emanating from the east.
