So the troll did a complete 360, avoiding my light spells and Earth's arrows? Earth's behind him (Earth was in the middle of the room, I was on the far side) and I'm in front. Anywho, I jump on to the troll's back with my armour spikes extended to cling on, and turn one of my remaining broadswords and my spear into a long, thick stake which I ram into the back of the troll's head (it will be driven farther in if he tries to fall back and crush me). I also turn another of the broadswords (do I have two or six?) into a pair of daggers which I use to slash as the troll's throat.

Last roll from me. Ross can take over if he wants.

It seems to have engravings of interesting runes, and various metals you have never seen before. In the other crates, you also spot a staff and a bow. All of the weapons seem to be shining white in color, and seem to emit lots of heat.

I fire light magic at the troll's eyes, which miss because the troll is now turning to face Earth. Even though it is RIGHT NEXT TO ME, I can't touch it before it halfway crosses the room, turns around, and tosses Earth halfway across the room into me. I dislike this battle.

Would it be possible to get a stats list?

well, i think we should try and get the HELL out of this area before it eats us.

I'm running through that door which is TOO SMALL FOR THE TROLL TO GET THROUGH and going through the walls that AREN'T IMMUNE TO GEOMANCY, DESPITE BEING STONE, FOR SOME INANE REASON.

It's actually not that rare for dungeons to be immune to geomancy.

Nex, considering that all of you are using rather light weaponary against the troll, it's easy to see why the battle is so difficult. If it can close distance quickly, then there's no point in using range weaponary, right?

well, my axe is useless, and im using magic, acidic arrows. doesnt that mean they should eat thru the flesh? next time, im using my axe.

Well this may be because of my slight overkill with the sea serpent (A couple tonne pillar may be considered that)

If you roll badly, then it doesn't really matter. Also Earth, you rolled decently (basically around 10 the entire time), but you needed a 15 to hit it in the eyes. For the acidic arrows, they did go in. Remember that as a character, you can only see what is on the outside. -hint hint wink wink-

I understand the desire for a challenging dungeon, Retech, but try to make it logically plausible as well. This game may not have a coherent map, or any rules whatsoever, but it's not "The Arena."

It is completely logically plausible. It's a very fast, very large creature fighting in its native enviroment. There are no logical contradictions.

retech. i have .3 archery, i dont have swordsmanship, i have no skinning, no fusion, 2.4 mining, no sound, no summoning, 1.4 axes, 1.2 acid, 2.5 necro, .3 transmog, 1.1 healing, and thats it for stats.

Okay. It gives a warning, then takes two actions to get to Earth and Hex. Beats them up for a bit, while bashing them over and continuing to attack them. Of course during all of this, his head is turning all over the place, being a troll, and Earth's roll which was too low, caused him to miss. (The roll included whether he turned his head) Then he turns to you and you miss with your light magic, because of your low roll. That basically explains everything.

The exp thing was explained above. The paddle only works in that dungeon, which is why I didn't put it down. The rope and the boots, you know you have, but I'll try to remember to edit it in when I fix the exp problem.
