(Well this ain't good) Grim looks around for any signs of life (ie bubbles) and tries to charge a geomancy spell. If he has time he adds buoys of hot ice in the water.

[VEGHATERMEATLOVER]

Yes! Now I want a reward!

Your geomancy spell fizzles out just as you start charging it. You look around for signs of life, but you see none.

 

-Hex

 

"Wait a minute little boy, we were just outfitting you for your journey! Consider that docile spirit a gift from us to you. Now...for your task." He hands you a map. "Travel to the east, past the great marsh, through the mountain paths, and back over the river that feeds that marsh. There you shall find a stronghold of Liches. We owe them a favor. You are to do whatever they want you to do."

[VEGHATERMEATLOVER]

I follow the map to get to the stronghold of the liches, I then ask for the spirit to give me super powers and improve my skills.

[Grim_]

Hmm grim looks into the water. If it appears safe he dives in. If it does not appear safe he attempts to teleport out.

[Retech]

You reach the marsh that was indicated on the map. You see a very large golem sinking slowly into the marsh. The swamp seems trecherous, and you can hear the sounds of animals crawling around in the undergrowth. The spirit mutters a little, and you feel better at casting nature magic spells temporarily.

 

-Grim

 

You dive into the calm waters with a big sploosh. The bottom seems to be covered with various little animals and kelp. You manage to spot a very small tunnel hidden by some plants, possibly leading out of the cove.

[Grim_]

Grim goes up to take a breath and then dives down back into the tunnel.

[VEGHATERMEATLOVER]

Thanks, now - can you imbue yourself in me - lose all of your brain, just make me powerful.

After swimming for a long while in the tunnel, you begin to feel strong waves coming from behind you. Fortunately, you find a small breathing spot that you could take a rest in.

 

-Hex

 

The spirit imbues itself inside you, giving you the ability to cast level 1 nature magicks. You have a feeling that if you defeated a much stronger spirit and imbued it inside you, you'd have a better result.

[Grim_]

Grim rests for a bit and lets the waves pass before continuing on.

[Earth]

i mine enough iron to make a steel greataxe.

[VEGHATERMEATLOVER]

Yeh!!! now I got and move all of the marsh out of my way with nature magick and get a tree to transport me to the stronghold.

[Retech]

-Grim

 

You continue on, before the kelp starts grabbing your arms and legs, immobilising you.

 

-Earth

 

You already have the iron necessary.

 

-Hex

 

You're not nearly that strong, nor is the spirit.

[Earth]

i go and create my steel greatxe. i then look for somthing to do.

[Grim_]

Grim starts slashing the kelp apart with his short swords while he continues swimming on.

Ooh, deciding to introduce the Lich's Citidel already, Retech?

 

Sounds fun.

I carry on walking to the stronhold, practising nature magic as I go.

 

And the spirt can't just have nature magic, I should be able to fly aswell (or hover)

Methinks I got swallowed by the beast. Bah I may go there if I get the chance (with a greatly improved light magic level). Hey ross/retech can I pass an idea off of you for an anti magic field?

[Retech]

The metal explodes in your forge, almost bashing your face in with speeding shrapnel. You don't seem so badly hurt though. (What exactly did you have in mind? You could hop in with Grim or Hex if you want, and they let you).

 

-Grim

 

You manage to wriggle free of the kelp, just as a stronger wave pushes you forward and bashes you into a wall. You start to fall unconcious.

You get lost in the marsh.

oh, i just want to find the citadel naow. i go and mine enuf iron to make a new steel greataxe.

I use my nature powers to move tree's a bit and find the horizon with a stronghold near it, if I can't see I climb up a tree and then get back on track.

[Grim_]

Grim attempts to heal himself before swimming on.

[Retech]

The iron vein seems exhausted already.

 

-Hex

 

You see the horizon, but you manage to catch a glimpse of the mountain pass that was referred to on the map. As you start climbing down the tree, you hear a scratching sound below.

 

-Grim

 

You arrive in the first room, where your boat was. As you begin climbing onto shore, the beast chomps down on your left leg, and the water currents begin dragging you down into the depths. (You had a chance to get out safely, but you stopped at the breathing spot. Hehe)

[Earth]

doh.. i go and look for the liches Citadel. on the way, i try to create a bow that can fire acid arrows without harming the bow, and necro arrows without harming the bow.

I use my nature powers to attack whatevers below so that mud goes up to it and drags it down into the swamp where it'll drown.
