Grim examines the boots to see if they have any powers. He then attempts to cut out some of the ancient weapons.

oh [bleep].. i turn around while pulling out my bow. soon as i see whats after me, i start running, loading up a mage qiver (a quiver made using magic) with necro and acid arrows.

anyway, I stumble out of the cavern and then sit on the floor flat, doing nature magic for the lulz

Anything that comes through that door gets shard-blasted using all my excess steel and the steel orbs. Specifically, shards that are pointed on both ends, serrated, and about a foot long each. I shall call this attack technique: Shardstorm!

The toes seem very warm, and the heels seem very cold. You search through the ancient weaponry, but all you find are shards of useless metals, the magic drained away from long ago.

 

-Earth and Hex

 

You see a large cave troll emerging from its living quarters. It charges at you with amazing speed, and covers ground very quickly. The troll is almost upon you, and you have a feeling that running won't help.

 

 

-Nex

 

The shards impale themselves in the troll's thick skin, before being absorbed into it. You have now run out of steel orbs.

OH [bleep]! a lord of the rings troll? seriously? i start shooting acid and necro arrows at the trolls eyes.

I do nature magic to make the club explode in an attempt to maim his hand so he passes out from the pain.

I also use force magic to try and knock him out.

(We shall call him... Hex! :P ) Anyways Grim puts the boots on and attempts to do a fire spell.

Better get those back when I kill it.

 

I form the iron orbs into the largest spear I can, and propel it as fast as I can, guided by magic, at the troll's head. I begin bringing down pillars and boulders of stone from the ceiling to crush it, and try turning the ground beneath it into mud, slowing it and possibly entrapping it.

You miss his eyes completely and hit his arm. The troll doesn't seem to feel it, and smashes you across the room. Thankfully, it only cripped your arms again.

 

 

-Hex

 

You stand your ground and attempt to make his club explode. Then you realize that it is made out of stone, moments before you are knocked across the room. Your ribs have been cracked.

Your fire spell seems the same as it did before.

You impale its shoulder with the spear, but its skin is so thick, it doesn't seem to feel a thing. The ceiling begins to fall from your spell, and the rocks almost crush Earth. The troll is hit by a few rocks, but is unharmed. Thankfully, he seems too busy dealing with Earth and Hex to notice you.

i try to heal my arms, before taking out my hammer and going ape on him. (bashing insanley the troll insanley with the hammer)

(Nex charge a spell and then use control...) Hmm Grim goes back to the fork after double checking that there are no more enchanted weapons on the beast. When he gets to the fork he goes in the opposite direction of the way to the serpents lair.

I try to create a pit underneath it. I then bring spike up from the ground, hopefully impaling it's feet, and down from the ceiling, impaling anything else. I dampen my, Earth's, and Hex's hearing with sound magic, then create a large sonic boom near the Troll's head.

 

@ Grim: I can fly away, if need be.

(Yeah but this way you can down the thing without killing all of your meat shie.... teammates)

You heal your arm, before charging up to the troll bashing it repeatedly. It picks you up, takes a big bite out of your legs, and throws you away in disgust.

The ground seems surprisingly firm, probaly from centuries of troll compaction. The spike likewise cannot come from the ground. You dampen your hearing, but the sonic boom still seems to affect you more than the troll. It charges at you and smashes you into a wall, crippling your wings for the fight.

Chasm within a cavern. :P

There was a fork in the path after I went into the cave. One side took me to the mega serpent lair and the other took me somewhere else (I have every intention of looting this place entirely :P)

I rip out my ribs for the lulz and then stand up ribless and take a bite out of my arm.

i heal my legs, and then i take out my bow, and start shooting the trolls eyes with necro and acid arrows.

I'm on the other side of the darned room!

 

I run to the nearest wall and sink in with geomancy (not running into it hard enough so that I would injure myself if I can't sink in), while casting blinding light spells behind me at the troll's eyes (normally they're nocturnal in most literature, so it should injure it significantly. If I fail in any of this, I rip out the iron spear with geomancy, turn it into a (thick, but tapering at the edges) serrated disk, which I begin manipulating to slash at the troll's face and *ahem* nether regions, as well as using the homing singals to draw the metal out of the troll's body. I also extend my armour spikes, hopefully increasing my protection.

You find a room with many crates stacked one ontop of another.

 

-Hex

 

You rip out your ribs, and begin trying to eat your arm, but the troll gets there first, and chomps you down. Then it spits you back up, bashes you against a rock to make you nice and tender, then devours you again. Please choose... one level to lose.

 

-Earth

 

The troll turns around too quickly and you hit the back of its head, dealing no damage.

The walls seem too compact and magical to let you in. Your blinding light spells have little effect against the back of the troll's head. The iron spear seems completely stuck in the troll's shoulder, and refuses to be removed.

Grim does a geomancy scan and examines the contents of the boxes checking for traps as he goes.
