The ogre and four thralls are bound to the ice tower, serving as guards. Jen takes her ice golem on a stroll with her, hoping she'll find a golem cave somewhere. (hopefully not the one the people are in already)

Ares-

The Familiar heals you.

 

There are still 3....

Grim starts throwing smaller exploding orbs of fire at the golems with aid from his battle staff while he again tries to heal ares. He also orders the fire golem to use magic to attack the golems.

Umbra blasts a bolt at one of the golems, all of them still look fairly unharmed so far, you suspect there might be more going on here than simply Golems...The tenacles don't do anything more.

Ah, okay then.

 

Ares attempts to open a pit beneath the largest golem again, his familiar attempts to create a dark shield.

 

(Jen, you need life crystals to power things left at a base, I believe)

Håkon attempts to awaken Ares, he tells him to try to use magic against the double-whacked golem. Then he turns to said golem and delivers a horizontal blow to it's "stomache".

Umbra is perplexed, he orders the tentacle to spazz out and kinda of become spikey and also try to straighten out *effectively crushing the golem*

Grim does a small amount of damage to the Golem, but as he is trying to escape is grabbed by the ankle and tossed deeper into the cave. The Golem turns around to face you.

Igos uses his necro to scan for any life-forces within the cave. He is still hiding near the entrance.

Well I do have a permanent snowstorm which is much more powerful than a measly life crystal.

Hakon manages to break the Golem Grappling match. However the Golem attacks you, seriously injurying you.

Grims Golem then attacks, managing to knock the Golem over, fortunately not crushing anyone.

Grim summons an orb of light before using 3 of his floating fire balls to attack the golem who threw him's head. He then has his fire golem go on the offensive (ie throwing boulders and casting fire magic)

Kemios fails(Don't worry about it)

(Pretty sure a blizzard doesn't supply energy to animate beings)

Jen can't find a cave.

Kemios attempts to light a fire in his firepit with fire magic, then unearth one of his pieces of goblin meat with earth magic and cook it.

(Does Jen find anything?)

 

Jen keeps walking, hoping to find a cave, but mainly just looking for something to do or treasure to find.

 

(You can hook up an ice elemental to an energy source. Besides, the ritual basically creates an extremely powerful energy source where a life crystal is less powerful but far more diverse in the way it can be used. Remember this is level 6 ice magic, which is more than twice that of level 3 (it increases exponentially, but of course it gets much harder)

Ares wonders why the golems seem invincible, and then attempts to create a deep pit below the feet of the largest golem.

 

(I still don't think a blizzard counts as a power source for guards.)

Rocco manages to recover most of his supplies, which is good because the apples are full of worms. The damage to the ship is quite server, but you manage to repair most of it, but it will need to be painted when it gets to Caster or it will crack.

Grim fails to recover. The Golem charges at him.

Ignoring the pain in the injury Håkon uses geomanecy to keep the fallen golem still while placing a accurate blow directly onto the to of it's belly (natural weak point for rocks when struck with a non-flat object(polehammers are pointed)). He then crawls over to Ares using his brassard as a mounted shield while trying to recover.

(Then a life crystal should only be able to create a golem, but you're using it to power five elementals. I think for the level of the magic I'm using, it's entirely justified to be equal to the level 1 fusion magic which created the five elementals. At least I think that's what was used to activate the life crystal in that way)

Ares creates a pit under the largest golem, but it only manages to make it immobile, it is too tall to be trapped entirely.

Grim orders his fire golem to attack the golem that is charging at him. He then tries to recover and get out of the way while healing himself.

Archi, please say these golems carry at least three life crystals each.
