Umbra-

The Dullahan, despite it's great desire to tear you limb from limb, knows that it cannot break the chains. Every time it tries, the runes on the wall seem to glow brighter.

 

As you walk through the courtyard, you once again notice the sword that the Final Guard dropped. The 1.5 metre long blade, in the middle of a large pool of dried blood.

 

Grim-

The master is finished teaching you for now.

You go to the entrance of the cave. Killing trees does not seem to provide any xp.

 

Hakon-

We already have a hellfire forge room. Why don't you just modify that?

 

Igos-

You kill the scorpion. +.2 pyrokinesis.

 

Ares-

Sets off to Caster in an attempt to find some materials.

Obvious hint is obvious

 

Umbra and Jen both try to lift the sword, at the same time

Umbra-

You note that the sword is unnaturally light. Only about twice as heavy as the Onyx blade you're using now. It has an inscription on the hilt - "Caladbolg", and has a lightly cyan-dusted coloured blade. The hilt is inlaid with many gems. You suspect from the colour that it is a mystril-alloy blade.

Umbra asks Jen to let go of the blade

 

He tries swiping Dullahan down word in the middle of him

He blocks the blade as before. You think that there must be some use for this sword in the cave.

Umbra walks over to the amulet and tries to edge it off the edge (if his blade can puncture the shield)

 

If he is succesful he tries to pick it up

The blade cannot puncture the shield.

 

Come on, think outside the box here.

Umbra goes back to the chained up Dullahan

 

He stands infront of it and swings the sword in an arc (I wiki'd the name)

Grim goes to his tower and after withdrawing some cash he goes to the store and buys a pick axe. With the pick he goes back to the cave and uses force magic to blast away the rock layers on top of the mystril.

Umbra-

The Dullahan again block it.

 

Grim-

You blast away the rock and see a cyan metal underneath.

No rainbowy blast of awesome :'(?

 

Umbra thinks for a while..

 

Umbra tries cutting the sealed doors

Channeling force magic in front of the head of the pick grim attempts to break off a 2-2 foot block of mystril.

Umbra-

You succeed, and rend the door into two pieces, which promptly drop to the floor. a gem in the hilt of the blade stops glowing, and you don't think you are going to be able to cut mystril like that again with this sword. It will still cut it, just not that easily. Grim stares at you in bewilderment.

 

Grim-

The Mystril eats your magic and then releases a shockwave, knocking you backwards.

Umbra

I go to the Ivory tower and ask about the legend of Dullahan (Grim stay the F away from my and Jens loot)

I also ask if theres any known weakness

Grim says "Ohaidere" before starting to hammer away at the mystril with now well... his hammer and then with pick.

EDIT: Umbra- I am gonna lol if he says "hell-fire"

Umbra-

The master tells you that a Dullahan, being a warrior-king who survived his own death, can only be defeated in head to head combat, and will simply ignore all magical attacks as if they don't exist. Although he asks you why you would need such information.

 

Grim-

You fail. (You're going to be there a while. Mystril is hard as hell. Your hellfire forge wouldn't even be able to make it bend.)

Umbra

Master I have terrible news, I have his location... I will try slay him myself

 

I ask you if I can borrow some plate armor for this, my torn robes will not do the trick

Ross would~ 2 hours be long enough of a wait to get the mystril?

Umbra-

It's just one Dullahan, there are many of them. They're failry rare, but the one in the castle is particularly weak.

 

The master does not have any plate armour.

 

Grim-

It isn't a matter of time. I'll tell you what, if you get two 19-20s in a row on the dice, you get your mystril. That is how difficult it is.

Umbra returns to Exile, and asks anyone with plate armor to be a hero and donate it, I say I will return it, and if I am not I will compensate

Ross I am going on auto pilot to get the mystril (it will be very useful for something I have planned) so for every roll could you include one of mine ? Also would a blast of fire from the abyss be enough to get it hot enough to be malleable?

A villiager asks you to give him 500 GP holding money in exchange for borrowing some dusty old ceremonial knight armour, which is missing a helmet and a cape.

 

Grim, you can't do that. I literally meant to say that it is next to impossible. I'm not going to roll a dice upwards of 200 times for that one action.

...ohh the irony (that is all).

Umbra says

 

"how about 100G, 2 sapphires, one shortsword (not the enchanted one) and 4 slabs of healthy pig meat?"

It is already made? I though it was just a plan so far.

 

I forge a small wire out of an unnotcicable amount of silver or and a tube out of an iron ore. I then twist the silver wire around the tube in twenty layers before holding the ends together and trying to move the electrons inside the wire around fast through the use of magic while holding it close to an iron ore.
