Dungeoneering

Recommended Posts

I find a rock and begin to painstakingly shape the stone into a crude axe head. Then, I cut some wood with just the axe head and try to whittle some arrow shafts. Then, I try to attach my wolf's teeth onto them as arrowheads.

After I cut wood, I get another stone and use it to grind a hole so that I can slide a handle into it. I gather tree sap and coat part of the handle with it. Then, I slide the handle into the stone axe head.

EDIT:

I purchase leather boots, a quiver, and a short bow from the general store.

Krakos-

He succeeds!

You whittle some wood, and then disaster, the Dog Teeth break when you try to attach them. They are destroyed.

You manage to grind a hole in the stone, and make the glue, and the peices fit together.

What are you buying them with?

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Oh wtf, Grim just goes around throwing lightning bolts and gets one and my character that's a trained hunter can't? Bah, humbug.

Nick goes and catches himself some nasty fish in the river and then heads back to town, where he cooks it and eats it then goes and practices his archery on some butts.

Dusty, no innate skills...That way lies people claiming more than is reasonable.

Nick gains .5 Archery skill, and loses 2 Bodkin arrows(assuming that you used them not the Broadheads). (This uses up the rest of your day)

My bad. I thought you said we had 150 GP or something.

Anyway, I didn't buy anything.

I just use my stone-axe and go on my merry way.

Anyway, I am just preparing the next dungeon, then I am going to bed. If people want to form parties(bands of adventurers) then they can do that...it just means these people are your allies, there is no real advantage in it, since most everyone will be heading to each dungeon(I am guessing)

If anyone want to give Dungeon Mastering a go then PM me.

Thanks for the gold dusty. Also I would like to note that I tried hunting like you did at first... I didnt get the deer. On another note I am going to try to make an unstrung bow (I need a bow string :P ), try to get some bone arrow heads from the dead deer and finally I set up a snare for a rabbit.

Kratos slumbers.

EDIT: Archi, wish me luck. We're having snow in my area, and it's accumulating on the ground. In my state, the schools are [kitties], so there's a chance that I might not have school tomorrow because it's closed.

Hehe, lucky devils.

From inside the Inn there is a told a tale. A tale of a great crypt, of kings long dead. The barman pulls you near and whispers its location to you, apparently the woman over there paid him to tell you.

The tunnel that leads to this place is short, and then there is a room. The room has a long, waist high, banquet table, the food now far out of date though. There are four statues of four kings. Each statue has two Sapphires for its eyes, but it is said that the statues are cursed. There is a well in the middle of the room, it is said that for a penny the crypt-keeper will appear and offer to tell you the secret of one of the three rooms that lead off of this first one, but it is also said that the keeper only speaks once in a lifetime, so chose your room well.

Or, since the GM is not here, Nick just sneaks downstairs to the tavern, gets drunk off pilfered brandy, then pours all the alcohol all over the bottom, and sets it on fire.

All of us escape, obviously, but in the confusion Nick sneaks into the store and steals another quiver of broadhead arrows, a bascinet, a longsword, a buckler, and 100 gold pieces.

Character bio/index/thing: Kemios, humanoid alien, age unknown. Green skin, no nose, and reddish plates covering his eyes. About 5'11" and weighs 150lbs.

Kemios appeared in the middle of town, wandering aimlessly.

((Question: since I'm starting late, do I get something to catch up? Extra abilities, items....?))
