I wish to be awarded with a shadow artifact, or a book that can help teach me shadow or dark magic, or possibly a place in your school

Kemios looks at the head mage and says, "While your offer of training appeals to my previous desire, I have just realized that there is something I desire more. I desire something to protect my castle and the village in which it resides." Kemios then goes on to mention the (whatever it was) that Jen got, and asks for something similiar, but to be used for different purposes.

"Hmmm, I believe I have just the item for you." He calls on a junior mage who returns a few moments later with a grey bracelet "This is a Shadow Gate, it allows shadows to be summoned instantly, whenever need"

"Will this still give me training in the art? Will I still get experience?"

What is the actual difference between dark and shadow? I've been doing the same things with both

Oh the heart I possess or the heart Jen got, which the Ivory tower wont give out cause they're banned, making Jen banished from Ivory tower

Kemios thanks the master and returns to his castle, where he attempts to use the charging stone, his experience in earth and fire magic, and his life shards to create a tower on his castle. This tower, however, can crumble itself and turn into a smallish earth dragon at its master's will and at any sign of a threat to the town.

Dark is basically stuff that is dark...like night

Whereas shadow is the absence of light where they is light....one requires light, the other doesn't.

So dark requires light, shadow doesnt?
