What are the properties of mystrium?

Mystril.

It's extremely durable and repels most magic. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to smelt it, since it would likely require a strong blast from a level 30 or so fire mage to make it malleable, and then a high level smith to craft something of it.

 

Of course, it's still pretty valuable if you want to sell it.

I also had a deal with the tower, if I went back and showed them the growth of the Kraken every once in a while, they'd give me some magic tutoring.

But does it conduct electricity, if yes that at which ohm level? Iron is about fifty, salt water is 2-5 and 1 is superconductive.

 

Håkon leaves for the cave with mystril in the walls and attempts to user geomancy to extract it (if metal doesn't count as earth/rock then i wil just move the rock around it so that I can collect it in some manner).

I was planning to implant some sort of internal skeletal-wiring of it in order to avoidd boiling my blood attemjpting to use lightning magic from the charge I've built up.

Mather, I think you're getting way to technical with this. You can shoot lightning out of your hands at will. Theres no need to have a charge stored in your body or anything.

 

I never even thought of the conductivity of it because I assumed it would never be needed. Also, it's next to unworkable. Nothing any of us can create at this point will be able to craft it into anything. And the cave is actually a castle coated in rock, so unless you can move an entire castle, it wont work. Then again, there are the two halves of the door which Umbra left after obtaining Caladbolg...

Outside my bones, placing it on the inside is like trying to defibrilate yourself with a thousand volt charge.

 

And for the conductivity thing, yell at Archi, he was the one starting that consept by telling me the iron in my blood overheats due to the elecrticity when it actually would avoid it due to the fact that it is one of the least conductive things inside a body. For the mystrium I'l take what's in the door halves, make a dragon forge and smith it using a power stone making the chances of success 100% while not getting exp.

The power crystals,which you gave me as GM when excavating have never been used, and as you yourself said can do any non-combat taks faultlessly, I'm merely smithing a strong, not-so-rare metal.

There are limits.

You can't smelt a metal without a forge using a power stone, for example.

 

Also, it's actually really rare. You rolled a 20 while mining to get that ore, and the castle is millenia old, so that's th explanation there.

Ares travels to the Ivory tower, and gains .4 xp in dark magics from the tutoring. There is a lot of fuss over the Kraken, because all the mages seem interested in it.

The master agrees to hand over a dark charging stone, and Ares travels back to Elysium to prepare the ritual, which will take 15 minutes.

Umbra finishes off the final touches and basks in his glorious tower, he then returns to the dungeon where he got calegborg (bad spelling but i cba to check) and transfers the dark bear cone to his tower

It was a bear I fused perfectly into dark magic into a cone, it can be used in rituals, but I dont know what ones yet, so I transfer it to my shadow tower (do I get xp for creating a tower, everyone else did)
