I head to my cave and attempt to mine, in hope of finding an ore or gem.

Umbra-

You miss, and Caladbolg gets wedged into the floor.

The skeleton misses you completely.

 

Grim-

If you use the fire orb on the staff it will give +3 instead of +2.

You need to specify the kind of magical item - Weapon, armour, trinket? What would it need to do? Is it heavily guarded in a dungeon, or hidden in a forest?

 

Hakon-

You find nothing.

 

Ares-

Ares searches for more crystals, and finds one, disturbing a skeleton in the process.

Umbra jumps back and blasts the skele with large dark magic bolts

Grim specifies a heavily guarded dungeon and preferably something that will allow me to access other planes easier.

Igos wakes up. He travels to Exile and asks if there are any miners looking for work.

Umbra-

You miss the skeleton.

the skeleton hits you, doing a little damage.

 

Grim-

The villagers have no idea what "Other planes" are.

 

Igos-

*Cricket chirps*

 

Ares-

Fires a spear of light at the skeleton, lightly damaging it. The skeleton returns the blow, dealing minor damage.

Sighing grim asks for the location of a shield that blocks out magic.

Kemios continues his mining with earth magic.

Umbra starts retreating and shoots off more dark magic bolts

Bah, Igos returns to Ikana to see if any settlers have arrived.

Archarnis (Archi gave me control again) goes foraging around for herbs.

Grim-

A villager tell you of a ruined castle to the north of potsdell. They say it used to be an asylum, but then one day something gave way and the place went mad, and every single group they sent in to sort it out never returned. Eventually, they just chained up the entrance and locked everything inside. They say that happened over 200 years ago, but you can still occasionally hear screams of madness coming from inside. The villager seems to be frightened of his own story, and runs off again.

 

Kemios-

You find nothing.

 

Umbra-

You fail to use any magic.

The skeleton fails to do anything.

 

Igos-

A group of goblins has arrived at the outpost.

Archarnis finds some wild garlic.

 

Ares-

Ares fires a bolt of light at the skeleton, destroying it. +.2 xp.

Archarnis harvests the garlic, and makes sure to gather a few bulbs for later use. He then continues searching for any more herbs. Igos travels to Exile and asks how much a mule would cost to buy.

Umbra retries, staying far away from the skeleton

Igos-

Archarnis finds some flameweed.

 

Umbra-

You destroy the skeleton.

Ares-

Ares finds a crystal, and disturbs 3 skeletons.

I grab my sword and continue to look for crystals

Hmm anyone wanna fight some crazies? Grim asks around to see if there is a something or other well (a portal to the first layer of hell) anywhere near. If not he goes back to his tower and with his fire sphere acting as a focusing orb and a life orb powering it he attempts to summon a fire sentinel.

Kemios continues mining.

Umbra-

You find a crystal and disturb 2 skeletons.

 

Grim-

Nobody mentions anything. You attempt to summon a fire sentinel, but you fail badly and the life orb is weakened by a substantial amount. You don't think you can do this for a while yet.

 

Kemios-

A Granite Elemental leaps from the rock.

 

Ares-

Ares fires an Arc of light at the 3 skeletons, destroying all three instantly. +.4 light magic.

I try to cleave both skeletons, while being out of reach from them (remember the sword is long)

Grim tries to summon a fire golem with the life orb. He then with his golem goes up close to the gate of the asylum, melts the lock off and sends an elemental in to check things out.

Archarnis takes the flameweed, and takes some of it's seed pods as well then heads into Exile asks how much a herb bag will be.

Igos sets off for Potsdel.

Umbra-

You crush one of the skeletons, and the other one hits you for some minor damage.

 

Grim-

You fail to summon a fire golem.

 

Archarnis-

50 gold.

 

Igos-

Flameweed burns to the touch, you need gloves to pick it.

5 minutes to Potsdel.

 

Ares searches for crystals, but find nothing and disturbs another two skeletons.

I fire a bolt of dark magic energy at the last skele, if it fails I will lunge at it with my sword, if it succeeds I will either finish it off if its still alive or look for more crystals

Grim tries again to create a fire-golem with aid from his battle-staff in the hell-fire forge room of his tower. He then does the process explained in the above post.
