The refugees start chopping down trees and beginning to rebuild a small village (at best) this should take us atleast 10 minutes IRL time...

The Mages say that only the Glass of the Sands of Caster can create glasses capable to seeing. They have some in stock, but if you want to use it you must undertake a quest to find some more after they are made.

The Sands of Caster are tightly guarded by the Town of Caster though.

Ares begins to hover about a foot off the ground and sets off eastward again. He uses his elemental orb and tries to summon 3 Shining elementals and 3 dark elementals to act as defense.

Hakon is overwhelmed and killed.

He sees that to the east there is a fair sized clearing with a town in the distance.

The clearing is 30 minutes(real time) flight away, and between you and them seems to be a bog of some kind, so probably weeks of travel (game time) by land.
