I've had that kind of crystal imbeded in my skin for several sessions now, I should barely even feel the cold.

I thought crafting and carpentry were basically the same, since building houses has given me crafting. I guess I'll do the bows then, if it'll get me the same crafting experience.

The crystal in your arm is no longer functioning as a crystal...it is just functioning as a mass of particles.

The Cyrstals themselves are just as powerful as ever...

Crafting is similar and shares lots of the same elements...But crafting is a general skill, carpentry is more specific.

Ah ok.

 

Also, would clockwork and engineering be sort of covered by crafting? Or atleast for a start?

They still had the same chill-bringing properties according to you, so I have been cold for sessions.

Engineering is a different skill entirely. Crafting might cover clockwork skils...

Clearly you misunderstood.

In any event you are hit with a giant slab of crystal that comes away from the wall. You feel a headcold.

Ares gets closer to the polo.

Alright. What would be a way to train/start engineering?

Håkon grabs his head, screaming, then he bangs his head into a wall and continues mininig.

Engineering is typically a general skill covering the finer points of design and production...For instance building a clock tower would be an engineering task since the focus is on the material. Where as building a tower is a Crafting or Carpentry or Masonry or whatever skill because the emphasis is on the construction itself.

Hakon. You have a massive lump of it right next to you....

Alright. Well, that gives me an idea. I build the tower instead of the bows (or start) but leave room at the top for a massive clock.

Håkon collects the crystal and goes outside to check how mouch he's got.

Hakon-

Not much...seeing as you can only carry a small amount in your crystal encrusted hand.

Håkon pushes the large crystal out and checks the size of his two pieces.

Hakon-

The large peice is the size of a a cartwheel. The smaller peices are amount the size of your fist.

Grim kills off any remaining wolves and attempts to collect the life sphere from his golem.

Håkon mines some more.

Grim-

The Wolves seem to have dispersed. You collect the life sphere. The cart has collapsed, but both the bears are still trapped in the cages.

Hakon fails to mine any more.

Grim attempts to repair the cart before continuing on.
