Sighing, Kemios temporarily buries his piles of goodies (except the meat) deep below ground so they don't begin to spoil. He then returns to Exile, pays 15 gold for his previous debt and 20 gold to his informant, and returns to the remnants of the goblin village, where he proceeded to attempt to use earth magic to create an earthen tent and firepit for himself.

Umbra- The Giant tries to stomp on your head, but fails.

Umbra rolls to the side and fires a dark magic bolt at its eyes

Kemios fails to create a tent, but creates a fire pit.

All the bad luck finally pays off as a bolt of darkest energies blasts the giant's head off.

Igos retuns to Exile. He wonders if the villagers will reward him & Kemios with anything for destroying the goblin threat, or if they will win any respect. The villagers had whispered of goblins raiding their town before. As he walks though the village, he asks around for the head carpenter/architect, in order to build some structures with the supplies earned from the village. He also collects his gold from the guild.

Okay, so, repressing all memories of page 120. What happens now? I have a pet kraken and am being taught by a level 50 or so mage. Can I get xp or something now?

If you steal that gold, Exile will likely cease to exist in a matter of days. They're already lacking money. Money which I'm supposed to gather and pay to them.

Igos recieves some begrudged thanks...partly because they were not actively at war with the Goblins and didn't want to see them slaughter, and partly because things had recently gone very badly for them(The people of Exile) and losing a potential ally was not good.

 

The Carpenter/Architect will charge 300 Gold Pieces for a house.

Suddenly an idea strikes Umbra, he will steal the gold and donate it to the guild and appear as a hero

Igos asks the carpenter how much wooden palisade walls and a gate would cost, using the supplies earned.

Because nobody is going to question why the gold goes missing and somebody donates it on the same day.

Well then I'll explain it, I will say I offered the giant help and he attacked me, I could only attack it after I tried fleeing, they wont kill me for giving them it

Ares....kind of. You have a Kraken Familiar...which means it and you are linked(meaning it will be resurrected with you). It also functions as an enchanted stone, allowing you(when you are a higher level) to conduct many rituals without expensive focusing elements.

It can handle itself in a fight as well, and is immune to blinding.

You will be taught .8 levels in whatever you like, regardless of your current level in that skill.

Kemios summons a small castle to live in, as well as a grove nearby.

+.4 Nature magic.

Umbra- Its more a box full of gold.

Edit: Internet's still gonna die soon. Kemios lights a fire with magic in the firepit, no matter how many tries it takes, then goes to sleep in the castle.

Ok, well I take a part of the giant as a trophy to show I killed it, and I take the gold to Exile

Okay then. +.8 in dark magic, which puts me back at 2.0

 

Am I allowed to stay and study for longer, to gain more xp?

Nick keeps walking along the road, doop de doop.

 

I traded my mule for a saddle horse and some food with some farmer on the way, so I am now riding a horsey.

 

Anywho, I cast the offensive aura "Might" (Increases party damage)

And the defensive aura "Resist Magic" (erm, resists magic)

...about a hundred times while I ride along (practicing, now can I level them up damnit?!)
