I've asked 2 diff ppl and gotten conflicting answers. my stats are... As you can see, my melee is much better than my range. Also, if i go in a large team, can I use unicorn instead of t bird?What should my inventory look like? I have SGS, Guthans, and about 15m cash. meb Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 Because you have a unicorn you can ditch the guthans armour and go for veracs (pray and defence bonus) or Bandos and (offense). I bring 4 pure sets because I don't want to spend more than 4 hours there (I have one titan summoned in the picture). Those prayer potions should last you the entire trip with piety and protect from magic activated the entire time Zilyana is alive because of the altar and ppot/super restore drops. You can bring another pure set if you repot more often. This setup assumes at least 4 people in the team. Don't forget the sara and zamorak items for getting KC. ZGS is great at Zilyana because of the spec and not needing to bring a zammy item. SGS works too of course. As a sara symbol you can take whatever you like just be sure to replace it when you enter. Killing Zilyana with a holy symbol is not cool. Equip your fury. Tactics are easy you'll be pro after about an hour of killing her:P.Hmm only just now I read your question. Yes you are ready just copy my setup and ditch the Guthans as I said. You might want to bring some extra brews and replace some ppots with super restores because it's your first time. 1230abcz Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 Sell Guthans, since you have uni. If you're serious about Sara GWD and plan on doing it for a long time, sell SGS and buy ZGS. You can get into pro teams with ZGS, which you can't get into with SGS. With the difference in cash, buy yourself a BCP, Fury and V Skirt. Use max str everything else, except for maybe cape. Only use terrorbirds in duo's or solo's. You'll never need to restore run in a trio+. And yes, 12M+ lsp is enough to get a hilt. You can easily 4-5 man with your stats, if you use the gear I listed. You can almost use Full V or Full Bandos. Full V is cheaper, so that's always a good choice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JoeDaStudd Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 Use full veracs then any GS to spec.In truth as long as you have 2 people (due to her defence the specs will miss enough) per team with ZGS you don't spend much, if any, time running. Veracs hits a lot better (with my stats atleast I can't vouch for yours) then a GS, as she has extremely high defence and you tend to hit the rare 40 with a GS, but frequent 30's with full veracs. I use full veracs, zammy cloak, fury, dragon boots, barrows gloves and either ring of life or zerker. I use SGS for specing the mini's and getting KC.For the inventory SGS, teletabs, uni scrolls, 4/5 uni pouches, 4 - super restores, sara brews, super attacks, super strengths and the rest sharks (in truth I've been using pies for the KC). With a 4+ man team I can piety the whole kill (with protect item) and never run out of prayer from the altar. SGS and unicorn keeps me healed (I very really use the whole uni bar).I use the brews and supers when I hit 5 or so off my base and the brews make for an emergency food source. Its very easy to live off the uni and SGS alone, but the a lot of the drops are food ones with if you all share allow you to last as long as you want (she drops all the supplies I listed excluding uni pouches and scrolls). Kinda sucks I thought they might let people in with just full verac what's wrong with not having a godsword? EDIT: does anyone do masses at sara gwd?? I can't find one at all... I'm going to try my first trip now :) and as for selling sgs, NEVAH!!! lol. i use it for too many things. For now, i just plan on going to use up my lsp, but if it works out i may go more.
