Armor? Weapons?

I haven't played in awhile. I was just wondering what are the best weapons? Dragon still? What is the best armor? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Abyssal Whip at 70 Attack is pretty much the best training weapon.

 

Then you've got the Saradomin Sword and the God Swords.

Depends on what you're using it for. All around basic melee weapon is the whip. Sara Sword is best for strength, and then you have Godswords which are usually only used in boss hunting. The best armor would either be Bandos or Barrows.

Yes, I'd suggest training with the whip on controlled since there's not a strength option.

Both Bandos and Barrows outdo Dragon.

WEAPONS

 

ABYSSAL WHIP (5/6 stars):

Best weapon to use for slash. Works well for slayer and bosses.

 

SARADOMIN SWORD (4/6 stars):

Same speed and accuracy as Abyssal whip but it's 2handed. It's best sword for strength leveling and that's why many players use it.

 

GODSWORDS (4/6 stars):

Expensive weapons which have high accuracy and damage, but is very slow. They cost over 20m+. Their special attacks are useful but they do not give you a advantage worthy of their price. Bandos godsword however is not bad buy.

 

ZAMORAKIAN SPEAR (5/6 stars):

Very useful weapon, same as Saradomin sword only that it is a stab and crush weapon. Highest stab weapon in-game and one of best crush stats. Same speed and accuracy as whip just like Saradomin sword.

 

It's a MUST for Runescape strongest boss (Corporeal beast), Dragons (if you have Super antifire, lvl 85 herblore = 100% fire breath immunity), Waterfiends, and many more.

 

Worth buying.

The staple weapon anyone decent at cmb shuld have is a Whip.

Then you should aim for an SS for the strength training and crush usage; but a d scimmy will suffice until then (though it stinks in comparison)

 

Then as other detailed Godsword for boss hunting is like a must. And Zammy spear is supposed to be quite useful for its crush and stab option for corp beats waterfiends etc, though if u just want it for waterfiends you may as well just use ur ss

If abyssal whip is only 5/6, what is 6/6? There really isn't a better weapon in Runescape right now.

Whip with Rune Defender for attack/defense training.

 

SS or D Scimmy with Rune Defender for Strength training.

 

Armour:

Bandos > Barrows > Dragon
