The only difference between a disagreement between friends, an argument between strangers, and a feud between enemies is the ability to reconcile.

Exoskeletons basically increase the power of infantry, but they cost a ton to produce. Less than a tank, but many times more than a normal infantry set of equipment, meaning they can be fielded in groups and can match a tank in offensive power.

No they can't :wall:

I meant in groups.

Well it would depend upon the suit in question. For instance your nyx suits would not have been able to take out a tank but a group of your regular suits would be able to.

EDIT: On a completely unrelated note I found an amusing amv here (Got bored and started surfing youtube)

The Nyx suits would have kicked the tanks [wagon]. Monomolecular wire and a laser cutter would have just cut it in two.

I was thinking about pre Mono molecular suits.

He had already annexed it. So unless you wish to get into a war with Italy I advise you do not follow this course of action.

I've decided that since projects don't get anywhere with more money, I will just make more projects. So I have 20 or so projects going on right now.

I don't see how Exoskeletons are that feasible either. The thing that I said about the hardkill measures with firing missles at missles exist today in modern tanks, so I don't see how that isn't feasible. I accept the judgement on the other stuff, but I don't agree with this one.

The reason I wanted to make an uber tank in the first place is because of the exoskeletal research. According to those pictures people were putting up, it seemed to me that they were ubering as well, hence the tank production. Anyways, if I can't defend myself using more advanced tanks, then I guess I'll have to make more of them.

Anyways, would it be fair to say that my tanks were 50% stronger than the M1 Abram (US tank issued in 1980) because my tanks are larger and cost 100 million a piece, while the Abrams cost 60 million a piece?

How are exoskeletons relevant to this conversation? Do you even know what an exoskeleton suit is? Have you ever seen one?

About the tanks, NO. Just because you are spending more money doesn't mean it's better than something else.

ALSO, YOU ARE IGNORING EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE EVER SAID. THERE ARE NO MAJOR TANK IMPROVEMENTS. THEREFORE, YOUR TANKS AREN'T 50% STRONGER THAN THE M1 ABRAMS!! CANT. YOU. GET. THAT. THROUGH. YOUR. THICK. SKULL?!?!

Even if your tank was considered to be better than the M1 Abrams (which wouldn't be unfair), it wouldn't be 50% stronger. That's absurd. There aren't many upgrades that you can do for main battle tanks, hence why the M1 Abrams is still the best tank and the preferred tank of choice by the US army even today.

I was talking 50% stronger because their unit cost is 50% stronger. In which case, the unit cost for the tanks are 50 million, and the tank project makes 1,000 a year. They are about the same strength as an M1 Abram.

Well you could build it with composites. Anyways, Grim apparantly has 8,000 tanks, which is roughly 1,000 tanks per year.

Fair enough.

and the tank project makes 1,000 a year.

One thousand a year? Sounds absurd.

In other news, President McPherson won the 2020 US Presidential Elections because of his more grassroots policies and adherence to the Constitution.

Senator Stevenson has very good ideas, but people want a more Constitutional president right now. His ideas are too radical.

Well there's the cash to pay for them, and the materials to supply them. I don't see why not?

That was way to high and I admit that (even though certain people have been creating 10,000 WW2 tanks out of thin air) The actual number should be close to 4,000 by now though.

LNYvk.png

Okay, production is 500 tanks a year again, and people can have half their money back per year, as it is not needed for the project.

Well, there's also the time factor. New technology (such as tanks, because they're more complicated) takes longer to produce.

Germany only made so many of its Tiger tanks, despite them being the best in that era, because they were so complicated to produce.

Sere, they said that same thing about computers after WWII.

There are always improvements.

For example, replacing the cannon with a railgun, or coil gun, or some other higher powered weapon. Making stronger, lighter armor (nanofiber), better active defense systems, and so on.

Hegemony-Spain

I guess so, but the SR definitely has the capacity to build that many, since that's where most are being built, with iron and materials supplied from Brazil. Of course some are produced in each nation, but the SR seems to have the largest tank building industries in the world.

Meanwhile, Japan probaly has the largest naval construction industries in the world, being an island nation and all that.

Zz we already went through this. WW2 tanks are essentially just a steel box with a turret and some wheels.

Hell, it's easier to make a WW2 era Soviet T34 then it is to make most modern cars.

-Thinks evil plan about getting Honda-Toyota to make T-34 Soviet Tanks for the consumer market-
