As my fifth action I declare that Sere will have the final word in any action, though I reserve the right to argue with him.

Finally, I plan to reformat the research system to more accurately reflect the real world.

 

 

Oh, PS: Mongolia errupts into war as 50,000 Russian Troops and 100,000 Chinese Troops begin battering the hell out of each other. In the initial engagement both sides attempted to sneak about, but air power proved decisively undecisvive and both sides sustained losses.

China lost 5,000 troops while Russia lost 3,500.

China currently controls the Capital and the Government continues to operate out of it.(Blue)

Russia has set up a provisional government in the North, (Green) which is attempting to mobalise support for the new Russian masters.

For the research reformatting, please do not include the provision that you need to know the technicals of the thing you're inventing to actually invent it, as long as it's within reason. That was just one of the big things which bothered me.

Japan asks both China and Russia to spare Mongolian villages and cities from destruction. Even better, they would do their battle elsewhere and guarentee Mongolian independance.

Well at this point, it seems both powers are fighting to annex Mongolia. Japan will probaly intervene on the side of the power who fights for Mongolian independance, which is why I'm asking both people to guarentee Mongolian independance.

Ok, when I annex things, can I make it clear, I'm not taking away government, I control them, but they have their own ruler still, its a good way to reduce any terrorist threat and reduce any chance of them leaving.

 

Though, its not really independence as such.

I still support the idea of a buffer state, since it reduces the chance of world war.

 

 

Essentially I want a nation there that will resist both of your actions. I'm sure lots of nations like having buffer zones. Or else we end up with the Swiss-German incidents.

Worse case scenario: Mongolia is divided into two parts.

Due to the close proximity to Japan, a specialized infantry attack group encompassing 50,000 soldiers is stationed off the coast, close to the Chinese-Russian border. The country that the infantry will be aiding will hopefully help move the soldiers to the battle area. Japan warns both countries that war is only an option of last resort, but Mongolian independance is crucial. If Japan intervenes, it does not wish for this to become a full-out war and as such, no attacks will be conducted in any areas outside of Mongolia.

The border on the coast, between China and Russia. If it turns out one side is Pro-Mongolian independance, then the troops will land there, they will be transported to the battle by that side, then they'll go and fight.

I think China is, but I dont get why you guys bother intervening. It just hurts diplomacy to your neighbors.

Ya haven't exactly been that Pro-Japan recently (reminds Icu of Indonesia incident, Thailand incident, Malaysia incident), so I don't see how that's much of a trade-off, compared to saving millions of lives that could be lost in a massive regional conflict.

Japanese troops have been withdrawn from the area. Meanwhile, Japan pushes for a ceasefire. It recommends that the two parties sign a peace treaty. Japan is willing to be the mediator, considering the friendly relations with both countries.

Well as the plans have already been set, Russia will consider it depending on the outcome of the plans.

Japan hopes the plans will not cause too much bloodshed, but once again requests that civilians be spared. Japan also asks China to move its troops to defend the outskirts of cities instead of inside them, to minimize civilian casualties.
