Ico its basically that you only posted the defensive plan around the north of the country. With no troops stationed anywhere else. Paul, on the other hand, posted troops to some of the boarder cities, but seemingly only 1 that you actually decided to attack.

The Presidents of Ghana and Ivory Coast have been assasinated during great fanfare and parade after their landslide election. Weapons experts quickly identified the bullets as Nigerian firearms, and immediately suspected the Black Glove, an anti-Japanese terrorist group supported by the Nigerian government. The bodies of the Presidents were quickly whisked away, and they have been hailed as Martyrs.

 

The uncontrollable nationalistic fervor led the governments of Ghana and the Ivory Coast to declare war on Nigeria. It was very sudden, because they had such small militaries compared to Nigeria. It is likely the Japanese garrison will aid in the fight, but it is unknown if any reinforcements will be brought it.

 

Emissaries have been sent to the countries between Ghana and Nigeria to ask for passage for their soldiers.

Abbysinia has warned that it will deploy forces to aid the Nigerians if Japan gets involved.

Japan states that it is their duty to help the Ghanans and the Ivory Coast..ians. It is not a choice whether they are allowed to help or not. Japan also responds that they are doing their best to limit civilian casualties by not attacking cities, as it is the military junta which ordered the assasinations.

Abbysinia begins talks with Nigera about troop movements. Unless Japanese forces happened to be in the area, which would be highly suspect, Abbysinia, with its land boarder, should be able to deploy troops before Japan or the Ghanans(?) arrive.

Japan does have troops there, as part of its defence agreement with Ivory Coast and Ghana.

 

 

 

Japan also requests that any battle be confined to Nigeria, instead of turning this into a full-out war.

Abbysinia also proclaims that it is on a Peacekeeping mission and is seeking UN support in this matter.

Japan responds that assasination is definitely not a peaceful act, and that any response Ghana and Ivory Coast have (other than razing cities) is justified. Any Abbysnian troops deployed to the area will be considered hostile, and will be destroyed with more zeal than Nigerian soldiers.

Spain has Invaded Portugal!

Forces travelling from a staging area near Madrid have engaged in a massive push to reach the Portugese Capital and the City of Porto.

However Portugal is no push over and has destroyed the Spanish Ship 'Yamato' with a loss of 80,000 Troops in, what has been called, 'The Greatest Military Catastrophy of the 21st Century"

The Yamato had been under bombing raids constantly while it attempted to make its way to the city of Lisbon, before finally meeting the Portugese navy off the coast of Sines.

Portugal has taken the prisoners and is building three prisoner of war camps near Sines to deal with them.

 

Spain's Land offensives have not gone particually well either.

The southern arm made good progress until just after it had passed Abrantes, where upon part of the railway was blown up in Abrantes, servering the supply line for the attack. Soon afterwards the Portugese forces at Tomar, as well as the forces near Abrantes retook the city and are now holding it against Spanish attacks. Although outnumbered almost 4 to 1 the Portugese defenders are not making recapture easy.

Some 4,000 Spanish Soliders have died compared with 2,000 Portugese.

 

The Northern suffered a similar problem at Coimbra, with the Portugese destroying the railway station here as well. The supply problems quickly became apparent and the attack was slowed considerably as the Spanish attempted to capture the city of Coimbra to free up the supply lines. Meanwhile Portugese forces in Braga headed south, first to Porto and then on to Aveiro and finally Coimbra where they engaged the Spanish.

16,000 Spanish troops died, along with 17,000 Portugese.

 

Portugese forces moved to capture Verin and Valenca in the north and Badajoz and Zafra in the south.

Japan asks if it could purchase provisions for its soldiers from Brazil. The supplies will be carried by Japanese merchant convoys.

Oh, I forgot. Project M is finished, and Project A will be finished at the end of this year.

Scandinavia reminds all other nations that in order to gain the right to have personell on the COSS they must help build it.

 

Scandinavia also asks Russia to launch module one and atatch arms.

I'll just say it's as much supplies as needed, however much that is, along with 250 soldiers and two tanks (one in the front of the convoy, one in the back. If my troops are fired upon, more will be sent.

Alrighty. Japan is already sending supplies, but it needs to make sure it has reserve supplies. There...may be many soldiers that need supplying...around the region of...200,000.

 

Any chance you could send the convoy towards the Abbysnian force coming into Nigeria? Don't get too close though.

Ah, I guess I'll need more than that then. We'll send around 500,000 MRE equivalents. That's enough for about a day, assuming that they have no other food source.
