im doind some reseac h on the effects my growth cannisters have on algae, if it works, then we'll have a near unlimited supllie f algae.. if it don't then i'll have mutant alga all over the place and i will know to tweak ot..

I think they probably won't have much effect, since growth pods have only been around for 2 years, so I can't imagine them being particularly well developed at this stage.

exactly, but they are pretty good, and we need to see if this thing has any negative effects so when we have the VERY well develpoed ones we dont make mistakes.

Algae has a life cycle of only a few weeks, so any changes would be readily visible by the end of that period.

I think the bigger issue is that all these bacteria are dying off, which makes it bad to grow algae. Isn't that the main issue, or is it the temperature that the algae can't live in?

Well the bacteria would be dying off due to temperature changes as well...but... what if I just move algae growing northwards? Maybe the northern islands that were given by Russia? Wouldn't that work? The area around there is an inlet, so it's protected from extremely tidal flows.

Just saying Earth, one year is two days, not one day. And your gdp/ capita did not increase by 5,000 by building some infrastructure in a day. Mine has barely increased that much in 10 years.

My GDP per capita actually fell as a result of the addition of several poorer countries. With economic reforms, and a steady small growth rate, it's recovering though.

Okay, so take your countries GDP. Then you multiply it by 1.0 something, for example 1.03 for a 3% GDP growth. So it becomes GDP X 1.03 ^ (How many years of growth), giving you the new GDP.

 

For GDP per capita, divide GDP by population. Then you're done! :thumbsup:
