Well don't you think that it's more likely that they would just say no than to attack the Japanese? Anyways, Yemen had 40% unemployment. They didn't have industries to fill that gap. That's the whole point.

 

Why can't it ever be a simple battle for me? Why does it have to be...psychological this and mental that. That never happens for other people. Rocco invades Uzbekistan, Uzbekisatan loses x number of soldiers. Turkey loses y number of soldiers. Spain invades Portugal, casualties here here and here, and defeat here and here. Robotic Carriers were like the mechanized trolley things that bring food into the city, since the cities are surrounded. Anyways, there are some things that you can assume, like soldiers are armed and clothed, but that's not what I meant. That's because there would be no reason that I would lose in an invasion. Instead of going with the most outlandish thing you can think of, then go with the most conventional plausible one. you have a 1.14 trillion dollar gdp which 1% of is your budget for spending so you have an 11.4 billion dollar budget for other activities. On a completely unrelated note as doom said an average soldier (or zealot) would not be able to use a nano spring bow.

Unless you used some kind of controlled explosion to propel the springs back and lock them into place, followed by loading the ammo and then firing.

 

Of course, that's basically a musket in reverse with less efficiency.

After much consideration, I am forced to rule in favor of Archimage's outcomes concerning Yemen.

.... its a [bleep]ing bow that the springs enhance... theres going to be a [bleep]ing lot of recoil, but given a plating that reduces that, it shouldnt be much of a problem.

...Bows don't have recoil, really.

 

And nanosprings would make the bow impossible to draw unless you used some kind of mechanical part with it (Something to force the springs back, really powerful electromagnet, explosion, etc) which would make it require more loading after each shot, and make it cost a lot to fire.

the recoil would come from the power of the shot.. but maybe the plating could be the electro magnet. going to stop posting here for today.

Agh fine. Obviously I can't go ahead with any more wars in the future, so I'll just sit here and be peaceful. By the way, Japanese companies pull out of Yemen. Due to the "hostile takeover" Archi said was happening, Yemen now has 80% unemployment. Hooray, let's watch it collapse in a bloody civil war with ripples all over the middle east! The 5 sunken carriers were patched up and have been put back into service.

Anyway Madagascar continues to be a total warzone with another 1,500 Japanese Soliders dying, as well as some 3,000 Civilians from lack of food and sanitation. Most of the Japanese to die died due to surface to air missiles, or land convoy raids.

Non-Lethal weapons have only really been effective in preventing the revolt of Saka, otherwise they have only prompted counter attacks with lethal weaponary.

The Japanese military have suggested negotiating with the rebels as the best course of action.

I'd love to, but I simply don't have the time or resources anymore. I'm pretty invested in my real life at the moment, and from my last experiences with Hegemony and the games thereafter - they take a lot of effort. I'd love to play, but I'm simply incapable of committing myself to it like I'd like to. I've been bumped from hardcore role player to "casual gamer" shudder the thought. keep in touch people. Maybe someday we can pick up another role play together :)
