Abbysal Demons

Featured Replies

I'm about to get 85 slayer and I plan on camping at abby demons for whips to try to make back some money I lost. I plan on ranging them in full void with 95 ranged. I plan on trying to get my hp to 99 from 98 and my ranged from 95 to 98 or so. I'll be getting an untrimmed hp cape and keeping it for a while. I was just wondering what weapon would be best to use her? Would a rune c bow with broad bolts be good, or would some kind of knife be better? Keep in mind I only have about 2-3m to spend on ranging supplies. If there would be a better knife to use with that budget, what kind would it be?

Thanks

Rune Crossbow would be best because they have too high of a defence to use knives, and maybe take Zanik's bow for the special.

You can't as they like to teleport themselves and yourself around while fighting. You have to use a Rune Cbow with bolts, broads are probably best, they have high def. I tried to range and found it was taking long to kill and now i just melee them for my tasks.

I hear that a crystal bow was the best there, but that might have been before the accumulator so arrows would have been strewn everywhere. I would just stick with the tried and true broad bolts since they have high def.

Ranging Abyssal Demons is pretty easy and isn't too slow at higher levels.

Use Rune Crossbow and Broad Bolts, as well as a decent Range bonus with a decent Def bonus. I used Hides and a DFS and I was fine using a bunyip (might have used super defense potion as well). And of course, have an Accumulator to keep most of your bolts with you.

Have fun Ranging :)

Would it be better to use an archer's ring or a ring of wealth while killing abby demons?

Archer's ring, a Ring of wealth doesn't do anything to the whip drop rate. Use void and a titan, with really any shield, super defense and range pots. I recently ranged them, it's pretty fast with broads and void, and the titan takes care of almost all the healing. If you have it, bring an enhanced Excalibur, it will save a lot of scrolls.

Titan really isn't required. Bunyip will be fine.

I'm 99 def, use void, fury, obby shield, d boots, archer (i) and accumulator, and I had to use a titan to keep myself alive. It wasn't rare for me to fall bellow 30hp, either.

Did you use EE or SGS? Did you use Sara Brews/Def pots to boost your defense?Whenever I've killed them in void, bunyip has always been absolutely fine for me.
