Legends Never Die vs Dragonwood

Summary:

 

LND was quite badly out of timezone and lost 15+ to the time we started, but we still managed to pull 23 so we were ready for the fight.

 

We prepped hard and were pumped for this round, we started off by piling Goblin Ownz (117) while DW piled Beckingham (122). Beckingham narrowly outtanked Goblin and we had a lead regardless after Dragonwood had a DC. We kept the two man lead for a kill or two more then DW dragged it back to just one, LND then grabbed two quick kills as Idkhow 2play tanked like a beast helping us extend the lead and end firmly. DW's next 4 or so piles all dragged off the pile so they were left trying to pick off individual LND who just kept tanking. At the 16-11 Stage DW's member ended up getting dropped and LND's jsut kept tanking off. Leaving the ending pretty solid for LND.

 

Gf DW was good fun.

 

LND Starting: 23 (dropped to 20)

DW Starting: 28 (dropped to 20)

 

LND Ending: 15

 

There was a little contraversy about LND "Mass Sniping" and DW screening "5 Snipers" when it was a 3 Cap. Those additional 2 may have been near your pile but they weren't hitting it - they were an Antisnipe on your snipers who bailed back to your area when they weren't too far from it and were getting hit by the AntiSnipe. So no were didn't break rules and no we didn't mass snipe.

We had a dc at the start which put us down and a pretty bad preformance. Although you broke the sniper cap about 80% of the war, you also ran out of bounds which one of ours did near the end but you did it at a crucial time.

Good fight DW. Got piled second and started LND's 2 kill gap, got extended from there. No flame intended, but your binds weren't that great today.

 

Contary to mass sniping, we have a strong/specific snipe and anti snipe unit. Just because a couple of our anti snipers hit your snipers when your pile was close, doesn't mean they were sniping you. I'm sure they got off as soon as they realised that person stopped (As it was ranging probably) snipings ours.

The DC at the start didn't help, our tanking wasn't up to scratch and neither was binding, not helped by the fact you had 5 snipers. Unless your antisnipers don't know when to get off and leave (http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/3255/100208171218.png) since your pile is clearly near the jail and we are all the way west, thats convincingly 5 snipers. Not the only picture either. The bounds at the very start when it was close hugging off all our binders and rangers preventing us from hitting and maybe KOing didn't help either.

 

Good fight, but it wasn't as clean a fight as I would have expected.

Well then don't bother saying we broke bounds, when two of your members broke your bounds north of the north west wall twice and you yourself used the South West trees after i said numerous times to LND members on Teamspeak "Don't use the South West Trees unless DW do".

 

Also, When you were getting hit in the first pick it was because you were redbarred, so a couple of people turned as i was about to call a transition on you then said leave it.

For the fight, we only assighned 3 snipers. To be fair, it does look like we did mass snipe. However, you transitioned pile about 4 times trying to get a KO, so that may have been one of the time. Also, it does seem some of our anti snipes followed a sniper. (Whether this was simply switching from range to melee and following, I don't know). I can only see 3 snipers and two more white dots in that picture. But even so, we apoligise if it seemed we broke the cap.

 

And I can +1 Stewie saying don't hug ANY trees unless DW do it first.

 

It still was an enjoyable war, could've had the decency to grats but oh well. GF DW.

I see 3 HP bars in OUR pile, hybrids or not your AS team took their sweet time getting off and going back. Thats not including the guy who is 1v1ing our guy south of the two trees. Thats 4 snipers AT LEAST, breaking the cap - intentional or not.

 

The guy we are piling has hugged the wall all the way to the west and has started running back east, 10-20 seconds if not more and I see 4 DW HP bars getting hit - not including the white dots who are not hitting us.

 

 

If you intended it or not, your AS contributed to hitting people IN OUR PILE. Antisnipe is what is says on the tin, hit snipers till they run off, not camp them till they get back into their main pile when your own main pile isn't even in sight and stay on them for longer.

If we war you again its good to know i can have 5 anti snipers chase a pile across the map and say they were slow.

That wasn't directed at that picture, you must have misunderstood. I also put a pic around it now with 7 poeple hugged at the start when the pile was at under 25% hp.
