All_Is_Great
What should I bring on a task? Which familiar should I use? Do I need food? Setups? Any help is appreciated.
JBlighted
super set, bunyips, anti poison, some food. Melee armour with z spear.
lordkafei
Definitely a bunyip (or other healer) and an antipoison. I wore dragonhides to protect from their purple spew (since I prefer to range at present). By all means, bring your knives & darts. Cptbaker08
I found a Whip and Rune Def to work just fine. I haven't heard of any weakness that they have. skylor12344
I believe each of the diffrent Strykwyrms have their own elemental weakenss' Desert = WaterJungle = FireIce = Fire this is just a theory however as i havent tested the spells on them only heard from friends that each type of spell does big damage to them. THIS IS JUST HEARSAY before anyone starts taking shots at me like last time.
Ezkaton
Well I know the desert ones are higher level than the Jungle; so from experience with Desert ones I'd say a whip and rune defender will do you fine. They're extremely weak and are down in a matter of seconds, with the occasional hit. The only thing you need to worry about is the special attack; but that's easy to dodge even when you're semi-afk. Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
boatracer22
Okay just to clarify, ONLY the ice ones are weak to a specific spell it does not do any mega damage on the desert or the jungle, only the ice ones. Bring some sort of healing familiar and anti-poisons are a must. Watch out for the dig attack it can hit twice on some rare cases (trust me I know I died)..... Also a EE or SGS will also help. Truly these guys are so weak a whip and a defender rips the apart. Hope that helps. Yeah I can't spell get over it!
JBlighted
stab or crush with z spear? Stab. Friend told me weakness was stab. I didn't hit that many 0s :).
Unknown_Warrior
Ranged also lets you avoid their pesky 30s easier. Don't go on a laggy world if you're planning to melee. Bring food if you can't do that either.
