Introduction!

 

Hey there. Welcome to my blog. My name is Richard and my character is Sgt Kranked. My account was originally called Kranked1 but it's now titled Sgt Kranked I was used to hate that horrible looking 1 on the end of it. I only recently came back to the game, about 1 month ago and I've already set myself the goal of 99 Fishing, along with which I shall get 99 Cooking. I don't particularly have a favourite skill, but when bored I generally either Slay or RC, for some reason I seem to like the tedious skills other than Mining.

 

IRL, I'm 17 from Dublin, there's not much to me, I like playing sports, hanging out with friends and partying etc. Live life for the weekend and all that kind of stuff, play Golf, Rugby and sometimes go to the gym. After school I want to go onto work as an Officer in the British army, after which I want to do a degree in War Studies / History at Kings College London hopefully, or get a Business degree.

I hope to achieve all these goals by the time I get 99 Fishing & Cooking, I've set a lot of relatively easily achievable goals there to keep me occupied and always with something to do if I burnout doing Fishing, which could eventually happen. It's more so that I have a nice break to look forward to every now and then while on the road to 99 Fishing.

That's about it for now, since I've only created it now it's pretty crappy and empty but as I get some more levels and see other peoples blogs, I'll probably fill it out some more. Thanks for reading it and take the Goddamn 30 seconds it takes to write a post please!!

Fishing gets fun when you hit 85 fishing and you can catch the high xp fish like cavefish :)

But... Whatever your plan is for 99 fishing, best of luck :D

 

As for Cooking...

The reason it is so ftw:

You can cook on RS, anywhere and everywhere!

Would be a good idea to get your cooking levels in nice places to create a nice array of pictures =]

Thanks Sugar! Do you know are Cavefish better exp than catching Monks? Haven't gone to the living Caverns yet but there is certainly a lot of exp in catching them :thumbsup:

Yeah, they are (:

Cavefish are worth 300xp while Monkfish are worth 120xp

 

You know where the Living Rock Caverns are right?

Under the dwarven mines, west of the barbarian village.

 

If you aren't a high combat level, the best idea would be to catch the fish in world 84, which is where the majority of people catch their rocktails and cavefish.

You need regular bait and a normal fishing rod. The bank is a deposit pulley which you can deposit things :P But you can't view your normal bank.

 

Also, when fishing, fish in the south of the caverns, where most people are.

The chance of getting attacked by a Living Rock Monster is extremely reduced when you do that.

 

Maybe I should write a guide :D

Got this last night but was to tired to post. Taking a break to get 90 Def / 80 Slayer.
