I'm looking for a good, free keyboard remapping program. I'm using a HP laptop with Vista.

I'm looking for an actual suggestion. If I wanted google search results I'd have used google.

I've used this program for quite some time, it's simple and you have the option to remove all the keybindgs afterwards as well.

You could try and write your own.

In java, you would use the Robot class, along with a KeyEventListener.

I used AutoHotkey to remap a keyboard combo to change the volume on my laptop after I broke the media touch buttons... That's my recommendation, found here.

Make it a third thumbs up for AutoHotkey. Does a few things more then just remapping.
