Buy tassets or not?

Featured Replies

I'm slaying and I have some cash so I'm wondering if I should sell a couple things and buy tassets. The thing is I'd have to sell my fury to buy them. Do you think selling my fury and buying tassets would be a good idea for slayer or not?

Btw I don't care how tassets are doing in the ge.

Ya that's what I thought just wanted to double check. Guess I'll wait till my stupid herbs sell to buy tassets then lol.

I kind of have another question now. Saradomin sword vs. D scimmy+rune defender. Which one do you think is better?

Fury > Tassets, by far.

SS is unequivocally better than a d scim and rune defender, but I would suggest training on controlled with a whip.

Well I'm already 99 att/def and only 930k from 99 strength so I kind of want it fast.

And thanks I think I'll be sticking with the ss

While I'm at it, what's the best fighting familiar to use with 88 summoning?

According to our local resident on summoning, it's either swamp titan or spirit dagonnoth.

Personally, I dunno 'cause I don't have 88 summoning.

I'd say the swamp titan does the best damage at 88 though I tend to try and use familiars that help train skills that I need leveled., so I'd personally use a lava titan (trains str) even though it is slightly less effective.

1. Don't buy tassets.

2. SS

3. Swamp Titan

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

I'd wait on the bandos. I had this problem when I was deciding what to buy for slayer and monster hunting. I settled on buying guthans and verac's instead of bandos until I have plenty of gp to spare. I would suggest the same.

Good point, I might just use lava titan to help train strength.

IMO, things like Bandos aren't worth throwing your bank at. Keep your fury, keep with slayer, and let your cash pile up, then buy them when you feel you have a stable ammount of money.

I personally didn't buy Bandos untill I had made 100m, just because I wanted to be able to buy some high level items, without going broke doing it.

In short, keep the fury, make money, then buy it.

=============

SS is better to train str with then the D scimitar, but it does have a bit of a price tag, which I personally don't think it's worth. You can always sell it when you;re done though.
