lol i made the title to attract lots of peopel but i was thinking i think summoning should be non member!!!! just jking it would be cool if it was though :) but for summoning do u think ucould summon a dagganoth supreme with lv 99?

totaly imba. if u summon a dragonoth it would make the guy attacking u attack him so.. if u attacked a mage and he summond a dragonoth your gonna get your [wagon] totaly owend by the mage no diff of what type u are.

instead of taking the wussy route of summong such as monster classes that fight for you, how about instead we summon sub class humans Etc: slaves to do work for you :) because with my experiance with throne of miscellania the work is mediocre and so is their attitude, plus we could have a new use for abbyssal whip, im totally kidding about the slave/whip equation also so don't take any offense.

I've read the guide for that new quest it sucks and "dark light" is almost as useless as silverlight. On topic, I think jagex will make some crappy skill that will be just as bad as farming.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What's so awful about farming? It benefits lots of other skills.

My reason, a Dagga is lvl 303..... lots of hits, and that would just be too unfair to other players, maybe a Greater demon, but it has to make it fairer on the player/npc you're fighting, such as weakening their stats, or having the summon alive for a certain limit of time...

It may benefit other skills but it is the most poorly implemented idea in ANY mmorpg I have seen to date. it forces you to sit around for a half hour and watch your plants grow (average) Jagex made a really stupid mistake with the timeing on it. They should have either had plants take a few days and had a VERY low chance of getting sick, or 15 minutes MAX.

Necromancy is really rising the dead... undead... Summon a zombie level... 11? Well, it would be crazy to summon a kaphoite guy or tz haar beast and it wouldn't be fair... :?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Summoned monster wuld have to be weak a die pretty soon. Like a elemental that punches your target 4 times and just faints... This could work but the strength and abilities of the creatures you summon must be reasonable.

You must have seen very few MMORPGs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You must also not have done much farming, I have no trouble maintaining all 4 plots at both Ardougne and Catherby at the same time, little trouble if I add Port Phantasmys, and only moderate difficulty if I try to maintain all 4 sets of 4 plots at once. Keeping it all going most certainly does not force you to sit around at all, it keeps you more busy than pretty much anything else in rs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Add maintaining 8 tree plots between wood and fruit (or more, if you can grow Calquats and Spirit Trees) and you will be lucky to be able to keep up, and raking in the xp while you're at it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Before you put something down, perhaps you should try learning how to do it right.

Correction, it's the most poorly implemented idea in ANY MMO to date if you don't possess something called COMMON SENSE. Don't tell me you're one of those fools who stood around the Falador Plot for the first week screaming, "OMFG!!! GROW POTATOS!!!"

I don't like summoning, for a few reasons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. There are only a few ways they can do it, they are:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a. Monster is summoned, opponent has to attack it, you can't attack opponent - but can use this time to eat food.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

b. Monster is summoned, opponent has to attack it, you can't attack opponent or do ANYTHING.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

c. Monster is summoned, opponent can't attack it and continues to attack you while the summon deals extra damage to him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

d. Monster is summoned, opponent can attack either you or monster.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

e. Monster is summoned, opponent has to attack it, you can attack him meanwhile.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

None of these, except for b is fair. And if they do it the b way, people will complain.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. No matter how they do it, you just KNOW high level summons will deal massive damage and be unfair.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. They're going to make it a mage skill, another type of spell, i.e. Level 15 mage you can do summon birdy spell, level 60 you can do summon dragon spell. This is completely unfair to non-mages. Mages are not currently disadvantaged on the triangle, neither are melee'ers, and rangers a litle bit. Summoning will put mages over the top.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The last thing we need is a level 90 ancient mage pounding us with ice barrage while his wyvern/dragon/pheonix/cookie monster also pounds away at us.
