Dax
After my recent attack at 88 Herblore, currently 81, still going. My money, obviously, has drained quite a bit. I haven't farmed for herbs in ages, but it was always one of my big earners. I remember farming a lot of Snapdragon, but I'm not sure what is the most profitable herb to farm any more. As I have 80 Farming, I can farm all herbs, so post away. What is the most profitable herb to farm? #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
qeltar
As of this morning's prices: torstol, wergali, snapdragon and avantoe, in that order. Dax
Well, that's interesting. I thought I could farm Torstol. Ah well, Wergali might do good enough. Does it sell? #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
Championfurydelta123
I don't think if it sells is your problem. I think your problem is getting your hands on the seeds, they are in high demand. I have a offer of like 100 in ge at max rite now :P By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius
manitstinks
Try some low level herb like avantoe where if they die, it wont be such a hit on your money.

Not even one bought. :P Try some low level herb like avantoe where if they die, it wont be such a hit on your money. I've farmed herbs before. A lot of herbs. I have faith in my Farming level and my herbs rarely die. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod

onedaysoon
Well maybe have a look at some of the herbs that are used in extreme potions and then calc the relative cost compared to their seed. I have seen seeds that cost less then one grimy herb of that type. So assuming your getting 5-6 herbs per patch on average thats a 500-600+% profit per seed. Sure it might not be as high a profit margin as snapdragons or whatever, but in mathematical costs its kind of better, especially as the seeds are cheaper and if they die you don't lose the 80k.
