Honestly, I think that we should stay in the same solar system. The original Hegemony was tainted by the space exploration and all that jazz. I, for one, think that it would be best just to keep space exploration limited to Mars bases.

Dude, even if you were able to become pregnant, where/how would the kids come out? I'm pretty sure imagining that would stop you from blaming evolution.

Either way you can still adopt, which would save you/your parter and possibly the kid from pain.

I would much prefer to go through some unending pain, so that I could have the minor respites of joy of carrying new life inside me...Additionally I do not wish for my child to be randomly slaughtered by whomever is carrying it because of complicated hormones or a career or whatever other pathetic(really, they are, compared to child birth) reasons.

 

Aside from that a C-section is a fairly common medical procedure.

 

 

Adoption isn't really something I want to do...For the first part I think I am more in the 'I want to create life' not 'I want to look after life' phase. For the second part, unless I had genetic lineage, I would feel uncomfortable instructing the child in the ways of the world....really, what right have I to do so?

(It should have come across by now that I am not orthodox, so...)

Well, actually, there are many greater examples.

 

Like kicking down a door, shooting up a room full of aliens, getting shot in the knee, picking up a kidnapped woman and escaping. That'd be pretty badass.

 

Sounds like a plan:

Kidnap a really amazing woman, and put her in a room with a door that can be kicked through.

Invite Rocco round to shoot up a room full of aliens.

Shoot Rocco in both knees and then go 'You da man'

Then close a door and wait for him to kick through it, thus rescuing the woman.

I don't think a c-section would work to well, at least not if you're fit. Imagine a hole being cut in your abs. Either way there are other ways to create life, plants for example, planting seeds. Not that it would feel the same, but you would at least know you let a possible life get it's shot at it.

 

Also I think surgical options are available. Or you could get a surrogate.

 

 

Rescuing the person you love, risking your own life would be a great example of manhood, one that beats those, or in a more litteral way a 30cm "equipment" would do the job.

Since you did roccos attack could you do mine too? It was 180k soldiers to the Ivory Coast with 3 destroyers and 3 cruisers. If and only if that is successful, an attack on Zimbabwe with 150K soldiers. There was around one day between the posts so the troops should have gotten ready in between the attacks. Also using some tanks and aircraft. More aircraft against Ivory Coast than Zimbabwe.
