The Dark Lord
EDIT: Kazakhia is working on a diplomatic deal with Somiland, under which they would be come a colony of ours, and in return we will protect them from the islamic extremist south. I.E., Nuke it. I'm sure the Knights would like to kick some Islamic [wagon] in Somaliland. Maybe convert it to Eastern Orthodox, etc. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

The Dark Lord
Some parts of the old USNA Navy have been incorporated into the Royal Navy. Likewise, tanks, land vehicles, and air craft have been incorporated into the Grand Army and Royal Air Force. The Continental Army has become part of the Grand Army. A new organization has branched off from the Royal Marines and will be called the Mobile Infantry. It will experiment with a new kind of warfare, and Mobile Infantrymen are going to be the best-trained soldiers in the world. Their uniforms will be grey. In lieu of the Mobile Infantry being formed, a regiment has been formed called "Beck's Berserkers". SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on. The Dark Lord
MATHIAS Gender: Masculine Usage: French, German, Scandinavian Pronounced: mah-TEE-ahs (German) Not much to be said apparently. Anything big happened? Tried browsing but it is to many new pages. There were a lot of major invasions, but nothing HUGE has happened unless you consider major invasions to be huge. Nothing concerning you happened, though. Anyway, I think your name was used by the French because of the Normans. The Normans were Scandinavians that invaded Normandy and adopted French culture before invading England. Likewise, Germans and Scandinavians are both Germanic, so the names would have easily been used in both areas. Just a little insight. The_Mather1
I kind of expected expected it to be of more southern Germanic origin, but I also know it is derived of Mattheus. Twitter: @TheMather1
The Dark Lord
Concept art time... Valkyrie-class Royal Marines dropship (RMC-Val1): Thor 1-2038 Main Battle Tank: Humanoid Assault Vehicle (RMC-M1): Just to give ideas as to how they look... And for old good time's sake.... [hide=Hegemony V1][/hide] Good times... Good times.... Also, I make a suggestion to Archi: We use the same style of map as we used in Hegemony V1. It's a lot more detailed and less cartoonish. archimage_a
Nah, switching maps would be too complicated now, and I never liked the V1 map, it was full of stupid lines and had far too many islands to be useful. The current map just does what is does. PS. Writing essays. 16 hours to write 1000 words and hand it in! http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. archimage_a
As for being more detailed...we never used all that detail, and we certainly wouldn't start. The only possible benefit would be an amphibious assault on South America via Antactica....Or a Pacific Island that supports a garrison of a million...something like that. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. The Dark Lord
Archi, what are the results for that fly-by that I PMed you about? (Results in PM, please) Also, what's roughly my population in America? Anyway.... The new Mobile Infantry regiment will undergo extreme training that will test their psychological and physical limits. Some of the training includes endurance in mountainous, desert, and arctic environments. Once they graduate, they will be considered M.I. and will receive a mark representing their uniform (a choice between branding or a tattoo). They will then be obligated to undergo minor surgery in order to receive an optical implant that will increase their performance on the battlefield. They will continually take Strength I in order to increase their physical endurance and strength. Likewise, they will take a regular supply of "cold pills" for extreme cold training and warfare. With that said, the Britannian military has authorized the creation of two powered exoskeletons for MI use. More details will be released later, but the first MI exoskeleton will be ready at around the same time as the MarineCom 1. The next exoskeleton will be ready about 10 years after. The_Mather1
Optical implant? You're gonna put something in at least one of their eyes to make them fight better, or implant a camera/lens/eye somewhere else on their bodies? Also, stickin' with this? The Canadian, Norwegian and Australian Armies train their soldiers with CS gas in a manner similar to that of the USA, as it is a basic part of NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) or more recently within NATO, CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) training. Gas is released by burning tablets, usually in a tent or a small building reserved for this purpose (a "gas hut"), and soldiers are exposed to it on three occasions. During the first two exposures the soldier enters the tent or gas hut wearing a gas mask. During the first exposure he removes his gas mask and leaves the tent or hut. During the second exposure he must remove the mask, receive facial exposure, then replace and clear the mask. In the third exposure he enters the tent unprotected, must fit and clear the gas mask before leaving. Other drills such as drinking and under-mask decontamination are usually also practiced yearly. Some Norwegian units are exposed to CS-gas while engaged in physical activity such as push-ups. Symptoms include a burning sensation on any moist skin, whether due to perspiration or other fluids such as tears or in the nasal membranes.CS-gas is tear gas btw. archimage_a
Once they graduate, they will be considered M.I. and will receive a mark representing their uniform (a choice between branding or a tattoo). Hmmm, so you are reintroducing naked warriors. I think history proved...pretty much since the Battle of Alesia onwards...that naked combat doesn't work. The new Mobile Infantry regiment will undergo extreme training that will test their psychological and physical limits. Some of the training includes endurance in mountainous, desert, and arctic environments. They will then be obligated to undergo minor surgery in order to receive an optical implant that will increase their performance on the battlefield. They will continually take Strength I in order to increase their physical endurance and strength. Likewise, they will take a regular supply of "cold pills" for extreme cold training and warfare. Otherly, you could just inject them with Stamulumab...It inhibts the thing that inhibits muscle growth....Would probably be about 1000 times more effective than Strength 1...Also you could use ice-cubes, or just cold water circulated inside a dry suit...Probably a lot cheaper than these 'Cold Pills'...I will just point out, though, that Cold breaks down the immune system....So in the intrests of balancing people taking 'Cold Pills' will pretty much be insta killed by the flu, and the like.Combination of minor surgery, with a high risk of infection, and the cold pills, will mean that the 1 in 10,000 who survive will definately be elite...Either that or they will be insanely lucky, which is equally as good for a solider  Anything else I can think of? Cold pills make it more difficult to function in regular(Between the Tropics and the Poles)) combat environements, and impossible in warm(Between the Tropics and the Equator) environements, and any and all bio weapons, even a man with a runny nose, could kill everyoneStrength Pills/Drink/Whatever it is that isn't Stamulumab, cause sterility, and mass aggression. The implant procedure carries a risk of permenant damage to the optic nerve, and will halve the useful life of the eye, eventually make the person short sighted in the extreme.Oh, and deployment cost is around 2,000,000, since it has so many downsides that people will essentially be paid to give up their lives for 10 years(You still have to pay year for deployment) and then retire before the damage is too server....as well as the cost of the drugs, counciling and other general stuff like that. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. The_Mather1
The martial art of ninjitsu is put as a optional extra training for all branches of military, soldiers experienced in this are to carry a katana, wakizashi, kodachi or ninjato instead of regular field knives, a katana also requires one of the other swords to be brought as well for practical pouposes. The FN F2000 and the FN SCAR-H as assault rifles, the P90 and the CBJ-MS as PDWs, the MGL as grenade launcher, the AT4 as rocket launcher and the Ruger blackhawk and the M1911 as sidearms are to replace the standard weapons of their kind, the exchange will take five years.
