Nero
I did not have that option, because not everyone was willing to give their land back, because they've had for ten years or whatever the time was that I was gone. Clearly, I was going to be fine on the moon because I didn't anticipate that someone was going to essentially zerg rush me (I was playing on the moon for two days, seriously), with nothing to gain from it. It makes sense to attack for gain, but you are really gaining nothing, which is what made me annoyed. You couldn't have honestly expected to come back and just be given back everything you had before. Well, you were starting on the moon whether I liked it or not, and since I didn't I took steps to rectify that. I gained plenty. The elimination of a potential future rival, and a global war. Both are always fun. After this war, if Africa still exists, I'd be willing to give you my African land as long as I could keep my IAG and full population and just be in Madagascar.I doubt he'd want to be sharing a border with me :P Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino

Although the Italians were in superiour fighting gear, they seemed to be unaware that the Egyptians could fight, marching directly into Egyptian lines of fire and advancing as if they were not there. The Egyptians capitalised on this advantage and slaughtered much of the advanced guard, balancing the odds somewhat.Captured Italian reports indicate that a certain 'Paraphin would render their troops docile'. Whatever this Paraphin is(Yes, I do know what it is), it seems to have either been ineffective for one reason or another. In Japan the Italian forces fared somewhat better, facing down the 200,000 Japanese defenders without many problems, and using high tech weaponary to literally drop planes out of the sky. The Japanese survived only by resurrecting Kamikazi tactics, rendering the high tech weapons useless. The result has been a devestating loss by the Japanese, both in land and in funds, as over a million planes were deployed to prevent invasion. Many more were planned(Around 333 million), but it later turned out that Japan did not have the 66.6 trillion required to fund this lavish deployment. The Middle East exploded into pandamonium, with both sides deploying forces into the millions. The Coalition gaining an early lead on things with the deployment of 50 atomic bombs, helping to thin out the Byzantian offensive, which was almost evenly balanced with the Coalition offensive. The 2 million a side forces fought in the southern conflict zone of the Arabian Penisula. The fighting slowly turned against the Byzantian forces, due to their earlier lost of troops to nuclear weapons, although their massive defences in the area made up for most of that. On the Coalition side the heavy deployment of exosuited individuals made some impact, but the suited units had a difficult time operating in such a large force, seemindly suffering from information overloads. Thus, in the end, it was an Egyptian Offensive across the Red Sea that tipped the balance.Despite perpetual artillary strikes, a small taskforce managed to cross the sea and undermined the defensive positions, allowing for the Coalition to silence the artilary attacks and to break through the defences which had kept them locked down. On the Suez Canel a rather different story took place. Over 3 million Byzantine troops assulted the 400,000 strong garrison. Despite having heavily fortified the area, the numbers were simply too many and Byzantia broke through the defences. With the reserve forces tied up fighting in the West it was left to the remnance of the South Offensive Squad to try to stem the flow, unfortunately this force of 200,000 men was never really adequate, and so much of the fighting was retreat. As the whole front seemed to collapse the reservists fighting against Italy, sent detachements of forces hoping to encircle the attacking forces, with little success. Eventually the whole reserve force retreated, allowing Italy to complete it's dream of turning the Med into a European Lake. At least for a while. The Coalition also launched a mass attack from the North, deploying 3 million troops through Kazakhia and Turkey. The attack acted as a second set of pincers, clamping through the Arabian peninsula and isolating the Byzantian offensive in Egypt-the seas being blockaded by Egpytian ships, who were being supplied by Iranian-Turkey, which, in turn, was being supplied by Kazakhia. The armada announced to Greek cities that they would not invade Europe, on condition that Byzantia halted aggression against the free world. Various boats were sunk to prove they were serious, and the great guns at Istanbul were shelled to open the Bospherous. Elsewhere 800,000 troops attacked East-Byzantian Turkey, making a tiny impression as they were steamrolled by 4 million Byzantians. However Byzantian forces are becoming increasingly isolated, a fact shown as the Japanese, after having driven across Asia, engaged the Byzantian forces with an army of 2 million. Arial bombing supplimented the Japanese campagin(Which had flown, rather than driven across Asia), and rallied forces from the Coalition forces were able to assist, eventually turning the tide and destroying the undersupplied Byzantian forces...Not before, however, Afganistan had annexed the Pakistan Desert. The only suriving Byzantian outpost in the middle east is a thin strip on the boarder with Kazakhia, which seems to have been ignored entirely, not least because of the 2.5 million soliders sticking out of it. However, enclosed on all sides, it will be left defenceless next year. Elsewhere Byzantian-American forces were steamrolled by 1.5 million Coalitional forces, and 400,000 more in the Northern Territories. However this has mainly been a side show...as indeed the entire war thus far has been, with the majority of Byzantian cities and economic might heavily shielded by the Concert of Europe, drawing a line at the Bospherous which it seems the Coalition are unwilling to pass. But will the deployment of the French navy in the Indian sea change their minds, or the Italian invasion of Egypt? At this stage we just don't know. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree.
