Nah I said it was yours once I realized it wasn't NPC, then I nuked Retech since he had a monopoly on the moon, then once you realized I have no monies you decided I was easy prey and attacked Hispaniola, so I counter-attacked.

In a stunning turn of events four non european members have been elected to the council of 13 (Two North americans a chinese and a moroccan). Various groups that had been clamoring for equality throughout the empire.... keep clamoring but a bit less now. In other news The Franco-German Empire has been split up into three jurisdictions (The North American quadrant, The Oriental quarter and The Motherland [Europe]). Elections happen throughout the jurisdictions to... elect officials (ie sherriffs jurisdictional senators, Imperial senators, judges, Governors,etc.) The jurisdictional senators are the equivalent of a state senator in the US (a senator for the state congress) While the Imperial Senators work in the Imperial Congress. The Imperial Congress sets policy and to a degree domestic policy while the jurisdictional senate focuses solely on domestic policy.

 

 

Massive reform has gone throughout the government as well chasing out the last vestiges of corruption in the police force and the courts. Corporations have been given a quasi personal status (which does not give them freedom of speech and certain other rights). Laws are passed to keep them from giving funding to political candidates as well. A speed limit of 130 miles per hour is set up on the autobahn and Cannabis is legalized throughout the empire as well as gay marriage.

With minor effort the attack into South Africa continues, volunteers from Italy, France, Britian and Kazakhia have been used as cannon fodder repeatedly, stemming the flow of support which senior officals described as 'Degrading'.

The pretty abyssmal defence South Africa has put up thus far is making commanders just a little over confident', as one officer said while shooting backwards, over a barrel, with his feet, killing five South Africans standing under a barrel of explosives, while talking to camera man Bob.

Egypt has been a pretty decisive player so far, having won the only major battle fought in mainland Africa, thus far.
