Hex, you can't just discover things, they need Research, or at the very least, a timespan to put them into mass production.

Ross, he randomly dicovered something "anyone" can make, quartz clay is conductive and plastic, if he ment plastic as in the oil-based thing then there's just the need to add a little finegrain metal(preferrable silver)powder to the mix.

Well if anybody can make such a thing, then he didn't really discover it.

 

Plus, adding enough silver powder to the plastic to make it suitably conductive would likely make it much more expensive. Or it would make it brittle.

I mentioned it a few pages back, ts basically plastic that has been bonded in a way that allows electricity to pass through it.

Besides, that's a two year project. It's useful but it's hardly going to have a big impact on things.

Well if it has a large impact it is because it fails, otherwise it is in developmental research...ie you can use it small scale and it is still be researched so that in 5/9/30 years you can use it large scale.
