Sy_Accursed
Each unique floor you do earns you a prestige level(so do floor 1 - 12 you get 12 prestige. Do floor 1 3 5 u get 3) If you repeat a floor u get 0 prestige xp (very bad as floor xp and prestige are averaged. So 0 prestige basically = - 50%)When you reset your current prestige becomes "previous prestige" but each floor is marked as not being done (so counts again for prestige) The game picks whihc prestige amount to use based on which is higher (current or previous) So if you do floor 1 - 12 and get 12 prestige then reset you will get 12 prestige all the way through all the floors (until floor 13) Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Sy_Accursed
You should reset whenever you can't do a new floor then redo all previous ones. You should never reset until you get your prestige equal to or higher than previous Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Aslan
If you do levels 1-21 again prestige will be 21 for all those levels(highest level so far is 21).If you continue and do level 22, prestige will up to 22.If you reset and do 1-22 prestige will be 22 for each level.. BioIce
so i do floors 1-21. I reset. and then do floors 1-21 again to get prestige? When you reset after hitting your bottom floor (21st floor) your prestige becomes that number, 21. That way you can get more exp when you redo 1-21 again. Eventually you'll unlock floor 22, so when you finish your new bottom floor (22) after having done all the floors again, and then you reset, your prestige becomes 22. And after resetting the cycle repeats. Savvy? :) Prepare to Die! Path of Exile RPG "Think where man's glory most begins and ends, and say my glory was I had such friends." Aslan
The level 1 dungeon gives a small amount of xp.An average is made using the 21 prestige. The xp will increase as you go through the levels again.

Aslan
You've done levels 1-21(max level is 21, max prestige is 21).If you would've done level 21 again prestige would be set to 0 for that particular level. That is why people reset,so that the prestige actually matters. If you've reached the highest floor you can do it then reset and start doing the levels again(if you've done it before, then reset and start again). But i have a suggestion to ask. would it be more exp p/h if i set complexity to 1 for the previous floors (like 1-11) and then set it back to 6? so that i won;t waste my time getting little exp. Aslan
I have no idea about that.I'm personally doing the levels starting from 1 on complexity 6 and reseting when I hit the max.

Not really a good idea at your current level, since complexity 1 has a -50% exp penalty. Prepare to Die! That actually sounds like a not so bad idea, if you take in consideration the speed. It'd be a good thing to look into, that's for sure. Can you change complexities in a dungeon, though? I haven't tried that before. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
qeltar
I did a bit of experimenting with this exact idea and it is NOT worth doing complexity level 1 even at the lower numbered level. The penalties are too severe relative to the time savings. That saves us some time, so pretty much if you have Complexity 6, it's not worth doing anything under that in any circumstance? ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
