I thought zamorakian spear was the best?

Saradomin sword edges it out slightly. Since you're already 99 strength then you could get away with Z spear. It's only marginally worse.

Zammy spear has other uses too, like Aquanites, Corp Beast, and Dragons if you have the herblore level.

Really no purpose to camping. The Bank is so close with the Fairy Ring there, just bring whatever and when you gotta bank, just bank.

Equipment is fairly obvious. For Inventory, what prayers are you using?

Void, SS, fire cape, fury, zerker ring, d boots. If you don't have void use karils/dhide + nezzy and barrows gloves.

 

Lunar staff, EE, uni scrolls, pure set, 11 prayer pots, leave the rest as room for drops. Use just piety prayer, redose your super set every 8 minutes (boosted max-8=repot level), bank every 32 minutes, bring a uni pouch with you and recharge points at obelisk. I got 110 crims/h with karils and 120/h with void using this setup.

If you want multi-combat waterfiends you'd have to use the Chaos Tunnels, but those are only advised if you have an iron titan for a cb familiar. Go with a uni :thumbup: .

Seems like you have your answer, but if it means anything, i prefer the z spear over a ss. I have used both on them, and not only does the z spear have many other uses, it seems more effective on them because of its high crush bonus. I was beating out a maxed player using a SGS most of the time with a simple z spear and pure set.

Well I bought a spear already, and I plan on using the spear on Defensive Stab. I need defense experience. I'll be doing KBD for a while, I find it pretty fun and good charms.

 

Edit: Thought wfs were weak to stab, not crush. my bad =x

Extensive testing was conducted by a maxed player consistantly potting and praying, same gear...The SS outdamages the ZS by like 1k exp/hour, due to the higher str bonus presumably.

Attack bonus does not make you hit bigger hits more often, it makes you hit less 0s. Strength bonus does what you described by increasing your mean damage. Less 0s = hits more often = bigger hits more often. Higher crush means you hit more accurately while on a crush attack style. We clearly have opposite opinions based on personal experience. Agree to disagree?
