May 9, 201016 yr You will always be a noob. Get over it. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
May 9, 201016 yr My opinion is that being a noob is just a behavior. Stats don't have anything to do with it.A noob is just someone who is being annoying/immature.
May 9, 201016 yr Im still being called a noob at times. Couldn't care less though :P /edit: in response to above post: id like to note that im being called a noob for having high levels (which is ridiculous i know but eh)
May 9, 201016 yr i think somone on tif once said noob is a attitude not a level. your a noob at every level to somone. your 138 your a no lifer noob, your a lvl 3 your a noob. etc etc
May 9, 201016 yr As soon as you stop being a pest to other players you may leave "noob-dom". Asking dumb, easy, unrelated and such questions, even worse if frequently for no other reasons than too lazy to open up KBase/Fansite can be a factor. Being very annoying through many means, such as, killstealing, stealing training/slayer and such spots, crashing monster hunts, crashing events in general for no other reason than to be an annoyance/laziness can be a factor. Being very unsuccessful in a game for no other reason than your own dumbness/laziness can be a factor. Generally, no one would go about calling other people noobs, save for noobs themselves. Personally, I don't mind a level 50 player walking around, minding their own business. As soon as they start pestering me about whatever comes in their minds, first thing that shoots in mine is the word "noob". Some questions to help them out don't trigger that, for example, best training spots and such, but things like "wear can i buy ur cape", "wow u r rally good (Yeah, oh, you've got something on your nose, it's brown.)" do. And then there are playful noob-callings which I don't mind. :P

May 11, 201016 yr There will always be haters towards you whether you're level 3 or 138, so unfortunately we'll always be called noobs. Also, I think "noob" has a lot of meanings, some examples are: 1. a new player who doesn't know what to do2. the maturity or way someone acts3. if someone asks a stupid question For me, a noob is someone who either asks stupid questions (or things that everyone knows) and also the way they act. I have met some famous people on forums and are nice outside of the game, but in-game are completely immature, rude and obnoxious. So for me, those 2 examples are what the word 'noob' consists of for me, it will be different for everyone.
May 11, 201016 yr There's certainly a clear distinction between a "newb" and a "noob", but seriously, it really doesn't matter. I would laugh if anyone called me a newb/noob ingame; it's a childish insult, in all honesty. If someone truly wants to be hurtful, they would undoubtably use language much more vulgar than that. May 11, 201016 yr Hasnt this topic been made a long time ago already? <_< I think its been made several times before in some kind of variation, and honestly who cares i rarely even see it used anymore. Check out my Pocket Slot idea!
