Top Worlds to train in

Featured Replies

I have a slayer task of Green Dragons so I'm meleeing them in the CT. But EVERY world I've been to has multiple people. A few worlds ago, a guy came in and just stole my spot. I politely asked him to switch worlds as I was here first, and he didn't respond. I then told him to get the [bleep] out of my world.

I've tried trade worlds, House parties, FoG, Pest Control, Vinesweeper, etc. worlds. What are the best ones for not finding many people?

There isn't any, you have to compete. And if you can't, get bigger.

Or move to a different resource.

Green dragons are very profitable so you'll be met with competition. Of course people aren't going to hop because you think its "your" world. You will have to outhit them or bring a cannon.

Everyone knows it, but not everyone abides by it.

i'm not going to give away the world, but i found that steadily before school (7-7:45 est time) and after school (2:45-3:45) there were literally no people in some worlds. sadly, you have to adjust your schedule around peak playing times. but here in runescape we have it good. back when i played SRO it took about 1-2 hours to even log in after school, and if you want "premium membership" it was $29.95 per 25 days or something. glad i never got hooked on that. plus the constant ranting and raving between turks and israelites really gets to you after they have spam wars over global chat -.-

You could try a french or german world, depending on the time of day.

It can add some extra fun, too (Drachenknochen =))

It doesn't exist. It's just an excuse used by the weak to attempt to usurp the more powerful.

Get bigger or go somewhere else.

Bet you wouldn't say that in real life, because then people can actually do something about that kind of attitude.

And please don't reply with the stereotypical 'I'm 6'2 and a black-belt in Kung-Fu....' :P

P.S: Please tell me you understood this reply. Also, I'm off to bed as it's getting late here so don't expect another reply. G'night.

So if you're mining two addy rocks that are side by side and you've been there alone forever, it's ok for someone else to just come in and start mining the same rocks even though they're likely open in another world?

It's akin to using a tool in an art class and while you're using it someone who's bigger comes and just takes it.

If you're consistently unable to find a world you can complete the task in, you might want to consider switching spots. As far as I can tell, the green dragons by the lava maze are usually devoid of players, so if you can tolerate being less efficient and having a higher risk of revenants you might want to consider them.

Off-Topic :-

You should be glad you didn't get addicted - getting to 90 was such a grind! Although Euro parties were a bit more fun, bots really ruined that game though...

On-topic :-

There's not really that much you'll find in the way of free worlds for green-dragons in particular, as has been mentioned they're very profitable. What you probably will find is in the Chaos-Tunnels in particular, there's a large number of bots from my experience. Exploiting the fact that they tend to ignore a dragon if you've attacked it can make it easier for you to get kills. Otherwise - PvP worlds are pretty much guaranteed to be less busy, but there's the risk factor there!

Arguably, people should abide by a decent moral standard when going for training spots. But to some degree, you're always going to get the people in MMO's that either enjoy ks'ing or believe it's not wrong. There is of-course the concept that an MMO' is largely about competition, perhaps in that sense it is rational for you to need to compete for spots? :)

Very Very Very BAD example, addy rocks might be busy but never packed out on every world.

Peak hours green dragons are always going to be busy, esp in CT where its effectively ffa, if you can dominate 2 - 3 spots on a high spawn world, why wouldnt you? I'm 99 atttack and str, pretty decent gear to, why should I hop after Ive bothered to train my stats and earn cash just to crash another low level? This isnt 80% of the slayer spots, green dragons are packed, and you have to crash or log on at stupid times of the day. And I'm sorry but if these people are anything like me, thats not my job to do, either train or jog on tbh.

Solo GWD'er

Drops: Bandos Hilt x 1/ boots x 1 / Steam staff x 1 / Shards x 9

99 Str/ 99 Att/ 99 HP (More to come...)

in high competetion places such as green dragons, you can't really expect people to hop for a free world, since they simply don't exist 90% of the time. In places like mining spots or less crowded monsters, then it's only fair for people to hop 2 or 3 times, rather then force someone who found the open spot first. But that is simply not an option for every resource, such as dragons.

Now, to help you find a spot, go north of the Wilderness volcano, south of the Lava maze, the green dragons there are often empty.
